This core drilling set actually works great. So far it's only been used for block walls. Regular block and those with infill, but it ripped right through. Of course due to bit depth you have to take pieces out to go any deeper than 4 inches. Which really isn't a big deal.Only issue I have with this set is that the hexhead bolt for center pin snapped. It's just long enough for me to tighten and lock in center pins still with Chanel locks at least.This is my reasoning for the 4 star instead of 5 star review.

Very good item to cut concrete

One huge problem with the set. The pilot bit is round with a flat side machined into it on the top side. The pilot bit slips into the shank that goes into the hammer drill. There is a hex headed bolt in the shank the goes against the flat on the pilot bit to hold it in place. This bolt, no matter how tight you make it , vibrates loose while you are hammer drilling! The bit comes out and is left in the hole and the set screw bolt gets damaged when it hits the side wall of the hole. Need a better design!

I am very happy to have the chance to review this Concrete Hole Saw Set of 20PCS & Hole Saw Kit with SDS Plus & Max Shank Wall Hole Saw Drill Bit for Concrete Brick Stone Cement Wall.First of all let's start by saying this is a very heavy steel and these have a combined weight of nearly 15 lb. This cutting set comes with everything needed to cut through concrete walls, easily through cinder block walls. All of the different hole sizes are complemented by the 12 inch or 4 in Long shafts and allow some variance to help control the cut. These are well made and fit easily into either a half inch or quarter inch hammer drill. This is the right way to cut through block and these are made the right way to last a long time. I am impressed by this tool and I would recommend it for the asking price. I found nothing negative or bad to say about this cutting package.

I used this kit to drill into a curb. I didn't know if it would be worn out after its first use. However, I was pleasantly surprised that the hole saw did its job and is ready for another task. I did have to drill the hole in stages since the saws are shallower than the curb, but that was not a surprise.
