This compression bag let you pack everything you need and put it into one pack and compress it. This is great on a motorcycle ride. It was easy to strap down and held everything from sleeping bag to clothing. Very structurally sound. This is a must have for packing light.

This is a solid alternative to the pricier more expensive brands. It is not quite as light as the compression bag I regularly use, however this was half the price. Works well and I have no issues with it. Only reason it did not get five stars is because it is a little bit heavier than my current compression bag.

Great size for a heavier weight sleeping bag appears t9 be great quality.

The compression sack seemed to do its job the first time but by the second usage the tightening part broke and kept getting loose. The seams are starting to separate as well which would compromise the waterproofing. I bought two sacks and they both had problems. The larger one I bought also had the tightening part right off, the side buckle broke in the first use. And the same issue with the seam coming apart as well. One of the main factors for buying them was the waterproof feature, which was quickly made apparent that it won’t be a lasting feature — the defects can end up giving you trouble.

They are very well made but too small to hole much if anything beyond a backpack or kayak trip sort of thing. We wanted to use them for storing christmas decorations ... didn't serve our needs.

just received. put my down sleeping bag in. got the large ... had a bit of work to get the bag in, then rigged the top and compressed to about 3/4 ... well designed, seems well built. highly recommend

I guess if your sleeping bag is a child’s bag, it may work, but any thing else… forget it. My bag is really not that heavy or jumbo. The stuff sack would not fit half of my bag inside. It isn’t very heavy material either so it isn’t going to last long.

I recently ordered a new sleeping bag and, predictably, it came tightly wedged into a carry sack that I had exactly zero chance of ever getting it back into. So that was part of my motivation, and the other part was inspired by a long camping trip I recently took where we were moving nightly. I discovered that it was much more convenient to have one sack to hold my sleeping bag, liner, and sleep clothes all in one, so that I only had to grab one bag when I set up or packed up my tent, instead of laboriously folding and shoving each piece into its own case.I ordered this compression sack in large, and I don't doubt that it is the correct size (somewhere around 10 or 12 liters, I think), but, alas, my estimating skills did not serve me well. There is no way my big bulky new cold weather bag is going to fit into this. However, it will be ideal for my summer bag and other items as mentioned above, so it will happily replace the old C-brand drawstring bag that wore a hole and has been held together with a knot tied in the end for the last couple years. The compression feature of this sack (and any sack) is something that I, not being a backpacker, am easily able to get confused and tangled in. However, it appears to work as intended, and does compress the bag tighter for more efficient packing. While it's not a feature I absolutely need for car camping, it's a nice bonus on an otherwise sturdy sack that will come in handy for tight packing, although it's unlikely I'll be using it on a daily basis.Overall, I'm pleased with the sack and quality for the price. My only caution is that it is rather narrow and deep, so not all items will fit well.
