The OEM belts are round. These belts are square. You might think it doesn't matter, but inside the CT-4141 there are some off-axis pulleys connecting the mechanical counter. These off-axis pulleys cause the belt to roll ever so slightly. When this square belts rolls it eventually flops over and goes Thwap! So now it's making this annoying noise about every 5 seconds.
