From the support chat on their website:"I'm afraid I don't have any information about activating a SIM card purchased from Amazon or using an Amazon gift card to pay for the Colt Wireless service. The provided documents only cover activating a SIM purchased directly from Colt Wireless. I cannot provide any guidance beyond what is covered in the given information. Please let me know if you have any other questions!"

Well to be precise, initially Amazon gave it 5* stars, I ordered it, paid the inexpensive price ($5.00-2 for 1) then a friend tried it) not great, so I went back to the Amazon website & it was rated @ 1/2* (star) It states it has its own network (Colt) but, actually bounces off whatever inconsistent tower we’re near! And I’m not talking a roaming kind of feature, it just DOESN’T have its own network! Unless it’s a totally crappy one!! I’m considering going with Consumer Cellular, THIS plan/Company sounds much more reliable & easier to use. Maybe others will do fine with it, (Colt) but I didn’t have a good experience. Just sayin’. ✌🏽 ☮️ Coz…..
