Familiar Features for Comfortable Shooting
Like the M45 issued to Marines as well as the commercial version, the Umarex model features the flat, desert-tan-color on a metal slide. You'll also notice the under-barrel Picatinny rail, 3-dot sights of which the rear is adjustable for windage, flat serrated mainspring with lanyard loop, enhanced Commander-style hammer, long, solid trigger, and ambidextrous safety lock. For those familiar with the Colt M1911A1, physical handling of the M45 airgun is very similar.

This .177 caliber Colt M45 CQBP with blowback is a variation of the 1911 Rail Gun that's enlisted by the U.S. Marine Corps. The M45 CQBP (Close Quarter Battle Pistol) by Umarex has a drop-free airgun magazine with a capacity of 19 rounds. Steel BBs are recommended for flawless function. They travel out of the smooth, metal barrel at a speed of 400 feet per second. The left grip plate removes for the loading of a 12 gram CO2 capsule. (CO2 not included) All marks used under license.

The gun is nice, it is easy to figure out and very realistic, my favorite thing about it has got to be it's a blowback all metal. My least favorite thing is the reloading, it's a bit more difficult then most airsoft pistols to load but once it's ready it'll do some serious damage. Well worth the price.

Got this for my 13year old who is starting to want to shoot guns and hunt. It uses the same realistic blowback, slide release, magazine release, safety switch. And chamber stays open after last round fired. All in all a great BB replica of the real thing to plink cans in the backyard when ammo is to expensive. The magazine is a little hard to relode, the hole wherr the bbs go is pretty exact so you have to pop em in 1 at a time.

This is a nice way to keep in practice when you can't get to the firing range as often as you want. I can shoot targets in relative safety in my back yard.

I have four BB pistols. This is the least accurate but the most expensive by far. It looks great feels great but when you continuously do not hit the target it tends to ruin the experience. I can pick up the Smith & Wesson BB pistol I have and hit the target over and over.

IT seems like UMAREX made a miss hap on the assembly line in their UMAREX FACTORY PLANT when they put this Unit number together...IT WAISTED 4 CO2 CAPSULES FROM THE START AFTER I OPENED THE PACKAGE BRAND NEW....I just sent it Back to UMAREX today by USPS TO GET A REPLACEMENT...PLUS AMAZON GAVE ME A REFUND AND THEY SAID I CAN KEEP THE DEFFECT GUN AND USE IT FOR PARTS...But I choose not to let such a WONDERFUL AWSOME gun go to waist so I packaged it and sent it off to UMAREX in Fort Smith Arkansas this morning on 11/1/2023...ITS NO BIG DEAL..ITS JUST A FREAK ACCIDENT...I REALY THINK THIS IS A GOOD GUN..AND I STILL HAVE CONFIDENCE IN UMAREX STUFF MAAN!!!...If I don't get it back untime!!!...I THINK I'LL ORDER THE SAME EXACT COLT M45 LIKE THIS ONE FROM AMAZON AGAIN...

It's been many years since I last owned a blowback pistol, and the last one I owned was like a $40 electric one that was pure garbage. Buying this M45 airgun, it's like night and day compared to my previous one. The accuracy of it is great, the magazines are quick and easy to refill as well as cheap to buy, the power is great, and the blowback action makes it extremely fun to shoot. I honestly can't find any cons with this thing. Just don't be a moron and give it to your kid as this thing looks very real even up close. Pretty much the only way you can tell it's fake is if you're looking down the barrel or if you're handling it. Someone who doesn't know guns could easily mistake this for real.Hook up a laser sight and get it sighted in and this thing is a great plinker for any backyard. If only I lived in an area where I could plink cans with a .22 without having to worry about neighbors...

Very well made, very realistic, and most of all, very fun to use. Below is a list of pros and cons.Pros:Nice weight weight and attention to detail, making it seem very realistic.Mostly accurate inside reasonable range.Somewhat cheap for such a realistic model.Comes with a convenient screw, hidden in the back of the handle, for installing co2 cartridges.Tactical rail built in for attachment (laser, flashlight, etc.)Good power at 400 fps and using .177 BB'sCons:Difficult to install the co2. I had to use pliers on the screw to pierce the cartridge, which scratched the visible (when hidden) part of the screw.Almost impossible to disassemble. That ability isn't too important to me, but for some it may be a downside.Only includes one clip, which is pretty much standard for airsoft guns. I would not, however, recommend this for any use in airsoft games/war, as it is a co2 pistol. For airsoft games, you would be better off getting yourself an electric airsoft gun.
