This sail shade seems to be made well and looks nice. We thought we would like waterproof but, after mounting fairly horizontal it became apparent that there is no way for the water to drain. If you are planning to mount them with one end very much lower, and I mean by at least 3 or 4 foot lower, don't bother. I would just save money and get a regular sail shade.

The sail looks great and works as advertised. We have it at a little less of a pitch so water does pool at the low point. We added little plastic grommets at the low point so the water can drain and that solved the problem.

I bought these to make a tinted area for my dog yard and they're great for the price! All the grommets are sewn in so they're really sturdy and they block Sun very well. I haven't had a chance to test out them being waterproof... They seem more like water resistant but it's hard to say. Definitely recommend for the price and quality!

I live in the desert and know that the straps will deuterate with a full summer.. So I will re-enforce them with a cotton blend straps. The color isn't yellow but, more mango then regular orange. I will keep it.
