The sunshade is beautiful and bright but it doesn't drain when it rains. Be aware so if you have a big rain you'll need to go outside and get the water off of it.

Nice enough build quality - but the vibrant color changes to a faded, washed out, “old” look very fast. We bought it in April, and it was faded by June…. And we live in the Pacific Northwest, which does not have harsh sun. Very disappointed.

Stitching and D-rings are very strong, this is a serious sun shade.Able to hold water from a heavy rainstorm - make sure to setup with one end lower than the others for drainage.Keeps out direct sun, while still allowing daylight illumination.Advising to take down in high winds if not secured to fortified structures, it will hold up to the name "sail" and topple planters or tear out poorly-installed mounting brackets.I HIGHLY recommend this brand.

This was a great purchase. I’ve used it all summer to keep my patio furniture from fading in the sun… as an added bonus, I combined it with a larger sail shade and the patio furniture stays dry during rains!Quality, price and ease of installation… highly recommend.

Sail is exactly as listed. Very well made. Double sewn and reinforced on the corners and around perimeter of Saul. The only thing I would add to this product is to add a 1/2” metal grommet to the exact center after sewing a reinforce patch. This would allow someone to add a telescopic tent pole to guarantee it would shed any rain water and not pool in the sail. Overall very happy with purchase, in fact I ordered (2) so I would have a spare when the first one wears out!!!

We ordered another brand of sun shades on Amazon and they were awful - they felt & looked like cheap plastic. These are plastic too but they look & feel more like a canvas, the weave is very small. As others have noted, these are truly waterproof - you have to install at an angle, otherwise water collects & the sails sag. We bought 2 triangles & have them at different angles and we get so many compliments! They're super functional and look fun too. Great product!

Depends onexactly what you need it for. I put mine over a shade structure, so it undisireably catches and holds water....if you can put it up on more of a slant, this wouldn't happen. Unfortunately, my pre-existing structure only has a small slant and 4 support bars. When it rains or snows, I have to go out and raise the shade with a 2x4 to make the water run off. Small issue, but still an issue. The non-waterproof shade actually works better for ME, in my circumstance.

Ordered this sail for shade and rain coverage. Ordered the 12'x12'x12' triangle red sail and it is a true red, nice colour. Item took a couple of days for delivery and appears to be well stitched. Box arrived and was intact, no damage to it. But, after opening the box (the sail was in a plastic bag inside the box) and took the sail out, I immediately noticed the sail had a black scuff/grease-like mark towards the edge of the sail. The scuff/grease mark is about 6" long total. Too much of a hassle to return it through Amazon so I'll probably just keep it...
