It’s nice but the middle is droopy despite being tight. Also it’s not rainproof but I didn’t think about that before hand, it’s not a big concern, I just thought someone might want to know that.

The dimensions were very close to what was ordered and held up to some 45-50 mph winds less than a week after installed. This product was better made than some I have purchased in the past

Tried a sun sail shade for the first time on the deck of a new home. Smart move. The deck gets direct afternoon sun and the kitchen windows that face out to the deck let in lots of sun and heat. This product dramatically reduced the sun and heat on the deck and in the kitchen. I used small pieces of chain (98 cents per foot at Lowe’s), carabiners, and turnbuckles to attach the corners. They made adjusting the tension easy. I bought the shade that lets air and water through to avoid water pooling and increase airflow. So far I love the product.

We bought this sun shade 3 years ago, so going on our fourth summer using it, and it has endured sun, rain, some strong wind, and cold of winter; and it is as good as the day we received it. We do take it down if we notice super strong winds or really heavy rains (we know it will stretch it), and use in the winter also but take down if it’s going to snow (Minnesota.)

This was the perfect size for our 12x12 deck. We've got turnbuckle hooks on one side and the ratcheting tensioners on the other. Perfect fit and easy to keep snug. The corners are quality D loops with good solid stitching. It looks great and we're very happy! We'll see how it holds up to the sun and weather. Has done great in 15-20 mph winds so far👍

As others have said, use turnbuckles. We are really happy with the outcome. We used 4x4s for the posts which we sunk in concrete (in flower pots) 2x4s for the frame. Unfortunately it has been excessively hot & humid since our purchase, so we’ve been hanging out under the deck where the fan is! We have noticed that the floor of the deck upstairs is a lot cooler when the sail is up. This sail may be a little higher in price, but we are glad we went with it. The sail stretches a little with heavy rain,. We just take down one end & attach it to the opposite side so it just hangs down. It would be awesome if it was also waterproof.

This shade was installed over a south facing deck. It was the correct measurements and fit perfectly. One drawback is that it does sag under rain weight and drenches the furniture underneath. I have to remove the cushions when rain is predicted. It will also be removed during the winter so it might last a little longer than covers used year around. In all I am pleased with the quality of the purchase.
