Like the bowls but the tabs on the lid are a bit flimsy.. bought two bowls and a tab broke on one bowl after first use… disappointingly

I'm using them for freezing large batches of soup, and for that purpose and heating up and eating from, they are perfect! If however you are looking to pack liquids safely without leaking like in a back pack or something where it will not stay flat or may be squished, this is not safe for leak proof purposes. When filled with water and tipped sideways, water drips slowly from the sealed edge. That being said, it would be suitable storage in a cooler that isn't going to be tipped sideways or as I said, for stationary freezers.Also, the lid can be considered splash proof, so you can walk around with it tipping and sloshing and it won't leak easily.

500mL is surprisingly small bowl. It's somewhere between a normal sized cereal bowl and a large dessert bowl. I read the description wrong and thought it was 2 pack of bowls, but it's 2 pack of sponges plus a bowl...maybe slightly misleading description.Anyway, bowl is pretty good quality. Lid rim snaps on and seals ok. Not 100% water/leak proof.

Exactly what I was looking for! I wanted a kid-size collapsible bowl I could throw in my diaper bag in case my kids wanted a snack on the go, or a taste of what I was eating. This was the right size; others were too large and meant more for camping or for a portable doggy water bowl. Love that this comes with two free silicone sponges and a nice lid!
