The advert has all the info you need. The bit is 27/64. This is a Gatsby pen for $4 and the wood! The only down side is that the pen comes assembled. It writes but has no wood no the tube. You can pull it apart but you need a correct sized metal rod to get the cap off. You cut a hole in the wood and glue on the wood and turn as normal. It goes back together the way you took it apart. Where's the problem?

The only problem I see at this time is that in order to turn the barrel of the pen you would need specific bushings to accommodate a proper fit and the seller does not offer the bushings. I purchased this item because I have bushings from another manufacturer, and I have a 27/64" drill bit to complete the turning of the pen. Other than that, the product appears to be of good quality. I'll know better after turning the pen barrel and assembling the pen. The seller should offer all tools needed to complete a finished project and instructions to do so would be helpful

the kit was awesome but one big flaw. there are no instructions. so now I have to figure out the bore size if I have bushing that will work.

Beautiful, heavy pens. Beautiful pieces of wood. No instructions, no label or diagrams for creating the handles. Nothing labeling the types of wood.

There are no bushings provided in the kits for turning the barrels on the lathe. After a search I could not them find anywhere. Cannot assemble the kit without them.
