I used this kit for a new OM sized acoustic guitar that I just finished building. all of the parts fit well after I did a little bit of sanding and the guitar sounds and plays well. This was miuch easier to use that cutting my own parts from a piece of bone and it was reasonably priced.

As described and fast shipping. I replaced plastic hardware with bone, one at a time and each made a noticable improvement in guitar sound. Highly recommended.

These pieces are all well made. They are bleached white with an eggshell appearance, not polished. I used the pins to replace plastic ones. The tone of the guitar sounds fuller and clearer to my ear. I bought this set because of the price and I am pleased with the quality.

10 stars on sound if I could. OK if you don't know what you are doing as far as saddle, nut, and pin fitment you probably need not do this or order a second set if you screw it up. These are going to need fitting and tuning to YOUR guitar. They make the saddle high so you can adjust it to your specs, the pins are a little large so you can fit them to YOUR guitar. Same with the nut. The bone sounds so superior to the plastic stuff lower line guitars even Martins are made with. The difference is night and day. Let's face it it's 10 dollars for the set. Order 2 and you tube how to set an action on acoustic. There are too many people that depend on others to adjust things to their specs. There are plenty of Youtube instructional videos on how to set up acoustic guitars. If you get them installed you will be amazed. I only wish I had recorded the junior with the factory stuff so I could let you hear the difference for yourself. I am blown away and will likely do this for my other 4 martins. My junior now sounds like my HD 28!

I bought two packs of these to replace the pins on my 12-string (fender). I did have to give them all a pass on the belt sander to make them fit, but that is to be expected. I had to remove maybe 1mm of material to get them to fit. They look great and none of them were cracked, broken, defective etc. I wasn't planning on using the bone bridge/nut, but the bridge was already at the same spec as the plastic one I was using, so I threw that in there and it works great too. fit perfect with no trimming or sanding required. nicely made, and I like the compensated design for the sake of intonation.Very subtle change in tone, to me it seems to be much warmer and translating a lot more of the low end frequencies, before it was a bit ringy and harsh. but more importantly it looks better because now I have 12 matching non-broken non-plastic bridge pins.Great product, at this price I'll definitely buy again the next time I'm fixing up an acoustic guitar.
