Immediately as I poured in water I heard a sound and it proceeded to break. I felt disappointed to have just gotten it and have it break so quickly.

I bought this for my sister as a housewarming gift. The glasses were heavier weight than I expected but that is a good thing. It is a beautiful set.

The good news: pitcher and glasses look very similar to the authentic version from Mexico; they arrived with no breakage.The bad news: box says made in China, which seems right based on the fact that they look like factory imitations of handcrafted Mexican glassware (too uniform, thin glass); way too much styrofoam used for packaging and now headed for the landfill.
