These shocks look great, install.was easy. I find them stiff, rebound is harsh, I weight 135lb and I have zero sag when I sit on my Escooter. My bike is 84v that had 7 SLA batteries which were removed. ( 100lb ). Now 16lb lithium. Maybe more weight for these springs is appropriate. I will return them for something softer.

I read the bad reviews, I figured it's for my kids dirtbike, he weighs less than 100lbs.I bought as a replacement for kids taotao 125 dirtbike on the rear, the one under the seat didn't wanna spend the $80 for the correct one. I took a chance and it bit me in the wallet. This shock is nothing but spring. The shock does no dampening at all.I ended up putting the old shock back on because it even with a blown shock it was still less bouncy than this one.

The shock collapsed with after getting 12" off a jump. My son only weighs 84 lbs.

Shock was way too soft; bottomed out with just my body weight of 135lbs!

It’s a good shock overall but it’s pretty soft.

It was a good fit, but the shock will not hold my weight which is very disappointing. I'm 210lbs, when I sat on the quad, the shock bottoms out!! The kid I'm fixing this ATV for is 200lbs so I will return this shock and try this one that is a bit longer at 320mm bolt to bolt and hopefully stronger.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09SLCVCNJ/ref=ox_sc_saved_image_1?smid=AXD5FRSZPVM2D&psc=1

I put it on a small bike which it supposed to work for but was very spongy the 280cc has thicker spring and worked much better

Purchased for a Yamaha PW-50 mono-shox conversion. The unit I was using was spongy at best for an adult rider. This, on the other hand, supports a rider of over 300lbs. with a normal ride height. I weigh around 160 and it's far too stiff. I'm in the process of moving the mounting points closer to the engine and it should be a perfect fit. Otherwise... Good spring, almost no damping, though. It does provide preload tension adjustment.

Use it to ride around yard and to fire pit.
