The Alba guitar Armrest is the latest addition to the Alba guitar beads family of accessories for nylon string guitar players. The armrest is fabricated from exceptionally durable PC material, and its surface is decorated with an elaborated wood grain graphic. Thanks to advanced image application technology, it is hard to tell it isn’t a wooden product. The top is finished with a gloss topcoat to provide a sleek surface for the arm.

The armrest design pinnacle is the elegant curve that allows the forearm to sit comfortably. The Alba guitar Armrest was designed for the standard classical guitars and flamenco guitars but would also fit a variety of other instruments.

The armrest installation is effortless, with two suction cups to attach to the guitar’s side. It has two cork pads on each bout to prevent scratches to the guitar top. This installation technique enables the guitar top to vibrate freely without damping the sound, and you might also notice an increase in the guitar’s volume and projection since the armrest minimises the damping of the top caused by the forearm. The armrest is designed to sit on the guitar side, at approximately 5mm above the top. Once attached, the guitar rest would be adequate in most guitar cases on the guitar. Fit it once and forget about it while travelling, although we advise removing the armrest after each use to preserve your guitar finish.

The armrest is exceptionally comfortable for the right forearm. It creates a smooth cushion and prevents friction between your arm and the guitar - you don’t need to change your posture and re-adjust your playing style. Thus it provides much comfort without sacrificing/changing your forearm positioning. The Alba Guitar ArmRest covers a broader area of the guitar to give the utmost luxury for most guitar-playing and forearm styles. It absorbs any top corner wear finish, also on the binding and on the side.

Easily fitted without marking the guitar. It's noticeable when playing that the resonance is greater because of the removal of the damping effect of the forearm across the top bout of the guitar. Really pleased with it.

Hier muss nichts geklebt werden. Die Decke der Gitarre bleibt vollkommen frei. Darum geht es doch. Die Saugnäpfe halten sehr gut. Für Gitarren mit offenporigem Lack liegen Pads bei. Damit geht es auch bei solchen. Ist bei Ergoplay nicht anders. Da funktionieren die Saugnäpfe so auch sehr gut.Statt auf einer harten, scharfen Korpuskante ruht die Arminnenseite nach der Montage auf einer angenehmen Rundung. Für die Innenseite der Armlehne liegen Korkpads bei, damit auch bei stärkerem Druck das Plastik nicht an der Gitarre arbeiten kann. Außer mit den Saugnäpfen auf der Zarge und ggf. diesen Korkpads - ebenfalls auf der Zarge - gibt es keinerlei Kontakt mit der Gitarre.In den Gitarrenkoffer passt die Gitarre weiter problemlos. Eine Demontage wäre zudem ein leichte Übung.Eine wirklich gute Lösung.

Easy to install by attaching the two suction cups on the guitar’s side. It won’t touch the guitar’s top & can easily be removed if needed. The guitar’s sound seems to be louder as my arm sits on the armrest which does not press on its top. I’d ordered this lighter color armrest for my guitar with mahogany side. Before that, I’d ordered a deep brown color one for another guitar with Indian rosewood side. This armrest isn’t made of real wood, but fabricated from durable PC material & decorated with wood grain graphic.
