It is a easy and economical way to cover bare light bulbs. It gives an old tyme look to wherever you have an exposed bulb. Good way to finish a room.

These bulb covers were very easy to install, attractive, and improved the lighting in my closets. An inexpensive way to improve an area, like a coat closet or clothes closet. The cover actually made the light in the area seem enhanced.

Love the look of this opaque light shade. We previously had a clear version and this one looks so much better. Very happy with our choice.

It is plastic, but simple to install, works great and looks like glass.

The first picture is what the lamp shade looks like on an open bulb (light turned off), and the second picture is what the open bulb looks like turned on without the lamp shade. With the lamp shade on the light is equally as bright without it but it doesn’t pierce your eyes when you look at it. This is exactly what I wanted. Easy to install, very convenient and it doesn’t look bad at all.

This works as expected access looks fine. Be aware it's very small (check measurements). What I don't particularly like about it is that it's so thick that it reduces the brightness of the light a good bit. I was looking for more of a diffuser than a dimmer, and mostly just something to make a raw light bulb coming out of the basement ceiling look a little more "finished".

I was hesitant to purchase this because so many reviews said that they came damaged. After I received mine, I understand why. They are wrapped in plastic and shipped in a gray plastic envelope. I was sure that mine would be broken as well, but neither of them was damaged in any way. That was shocking.I only needed one for a bare lightbulb in a cellar hallway. It was perfect. It's lightweight and just enough to make the ugly bulb look like a fixture. Cheap, easy fix for an area that doesn't get seen often.

The shades are pretty cheaply made. I don't expect them to last very long because they're constructed with a brittle plastic. If it slips off the bulb and lands on the floor I believe it will shatter. Having said that, it seems secure enough on the bulb and it diffuses the light in my basement making a warmer atmosphere than the bare bulb did. One further critique, there is a sticker onside the shade that is very difficult to remove. You'll need to soak it or use goo gone to remove it. It's a small, but annoying thing because if you leave it on the sticker will cast a noticeable shadow!

This was the perfect quick, easy, affordable fix for an exposed basement hallway ceiling lightbulb. The shade is well made and substantial - it looks like glass, not plastic. And it looks great over the bulb - you can't see the bulb at all through the opaque shade, but it allows plenty of light through - there is no problem with illumination. I highly recommend this light shade.

Needed to replace old yellow shades for clip-on Basement Utility Type Pull Cord light fixtures in basement room. After looking for ~ 2 years, cannot find these any more. These clip-on shades do not have a hole for the pull. I ordered 4 shades on May 21st with plans to try to drill a hole for the pull. Spirit moved me 7/12/20. Measured from pull to bulb center. Measured shade out level from center hole 2 1/4 inches and marked with marker. Placed shade in vice cushioned with cloth, supported remainder of shade with block, and hand held in place. I used 1 inch hole drill and drilled pulsing the drill. Hand sanded the edges. 3 Came out perfect. Last one I got too confident and did not have vice snug enough so it kicked on me. Shade does have some bend so can secure it for drilling. Used circular file in drill to smooth my mistake into tear-drop shape. As it turned out I have an odd-ball fixture where pull is closer to bulb, so measure each time. My mistake made the last shade I drilled perfect for the pull. With the fit for the last one, it seems, I had some help. It can be done with patience, go slow, have courage without getting confident. It would be nice if the manufacturer offered the same product with a hole. I am very satisfied. It fixed my desire for clean shades.

These are simple and cute, and worked well on my standard American sized LED lightbulb. It is inexpensive enough to use until we decide what we want to put up permanently. We just quickly mounted a simple ceramic bulb holder and easily slid on this shade. Easy enough to pop on and off to show off our ingenuity to friends!

These were just what I was looking for, and at a very reasonable price! Fills the bill perfectly, way better than looking at bare light bulbs!
