These shoes are awful. They have no padding at all in them - just a really basic lining. The sole has very little flexibility, so it feels like I strapped a board to my feet, and it literally makes a "clip clop" sound like a horse when I walk. Even just tying them made me wonder if the fasteners would come off. These are only barely functional as really basic shoes. I wore them for about an hour to give them the best chance possible, and these went straight into the donation pile after that. They aren't complete trash, but they are really not good quality at all.Poor value. I do not recommend these.

These CHIN-MOON Women's Waterproof Backpacking Boots are very cute, but are better suited for a trip to the grocery store than to backpacking in the wild.As other reviewers have noted, they run very small. The size 10 that I ordered feel more like a 9 1/2, tops. I could just barely squeeze my foot in, but had to take them off after 5 minutes because my toes hurt from being jammed in there. The laces are too short. Although my feet and ankles are slender, I needed every inch of the laces. If your feet/ankles are more substantial, I doubt these laces would be long enough for you to tie.There is zero arch support or cushioning in these boots, making them unsuitable for backpacking.Priced $39.99 (at time of order), I consider these to be a poor value.

I really love my CHIN·MOON Women's Waterproof Backpacking Boots.I used the size chart and ordered a size 10 in Deep Khaki, and they fit true to size.I think they feel great, and are super sturdy, perfect for muddy hikes or working outside during winter months.These are definitely a quality pair of boots at an affordable price, especially compared to other boot options on the market.

These boots have good tread, good ankle coverage, and a stylish design. The laces are adjustable, though the boots come with regular shoe laces, not boot laces.I wear size 8W. I ordered these boots in size 9. The width is good. The length is a bit long, which is not a surprise. My heels slide a little. So far no blisters over 1-2 miles. I’m not sure if I would get a blister on a longer hike.I wore these walking in about four inches of snow for approximately 30 minutes and my feet stayed dry and warm. After about 60 minutes, my feet were a little cold though still dry.The tread makes it hard to thoroughly wipe your feet before entering the house, though that is true of any shoe with tread. I am not sure how durable these boots will be as they are not real leather. They will be good boots for however long they last.

I am wearing these super cute boots as I write this. I love love the baby blue color - looks funky and fun with jeans. I have to say, however, that I would never wear them hiking or for any sort of heavy duty walking. Despite the thick sole, it seems like it's all for looks. It does not provide any support and there is no padding whatsoever in the foot bed. I have sandals that provide more foot support honestly. So if you are just looking for cute boots, these are great. If you are looking for heavy duty boots that will keep you comfortable all day, these are not it. Size was as expected - I am a US size 8, and the faux suede has a very slight nap and looks great.

Pros:*These are really cute*seemingly water resistant*have good tractionCons:*They are too short,yet too wide- which is odd,since I have wide feet.*No cushion or arch support -even if they fit well, they would be uncomfortable. There very little cushion or support under your feet. It's similar to wearing converse type sneakers, something I'd never wear to go hiking at least not on purpose.

Well, the boots fit my 7-1/2-foot size, but barely. I ordered an 8, knowing that international seller shoes and boots tend to run small. For an 8, these fit closer to a 7. My feet fit, but my toes were at the very front edge of the boot. Someone with a size 8 should really ask the seller about size, because a 9 might not fit or just barely.Now, to get them on, I had to loosen the laces to get my foot into the boot. I found that the laces were so short that I had to remove them from the little metal hooks that held them just so I could get them on. With laces so short, you might not even be able to get them completely relaced for heavier ankles.Once on, they were not uncomfortable, but they did not feel like they had memory foam insoles. Memory foam is supposed to cushion your foot, shaping to it. There was nothing like this on the boots. Like I said, it was not uncomfortable, just not memory-foam-ish.Also, these are supposed to have non-slip soles. Feeling the bottom, the rubber base feels like it's coated with something and walking on my tile floors, they did not feel slip resistant. Maybe these were designed for wet and muddy surfaces as these are made for hiking. Don't know, but that is possible.Last, the boots are supposed to be waterproof. Waterproof is different than water resistant. Waterproof means that will not ever get water soaked into them, like the rubber galoshes you had as a kid, or your kids wear. Water resistant is material that after being in rainy or wet conditions for a while, the boots or shoes will protect, but eventually they will start to be wet and the wet will reach your feet. Most leather types and faux types are like this...water resistant to a degree. These boots are not leather, but a non-leather boot material (PU-Polyurethane) that looks like suede. If they are waterproof, great, but material like this is usually more water resistant. I don't know for sure but keep that in mind when buying.Cute boots but watch your sizing when you buy.
