I switched from a hand guard like on a dirt bike to these & they look cool. But not only do I like the look I had an issue when turning past the corner of my house & ran smack into the side. These guards held up great & protected my hand from getting smashed on a brick ledge under a window. The one got a little paint chip knocked off but held up well. Just from that I'm glad I got these. I will certainly tell ppl about them. I recommend them. For such a minimum piece of aluminum they are tough.
