Wish it were a bit thicker. One previous review said it worked with their Aussie saddle. Not mine. Too short. Great with my English saddle though.

I didn't realize there wasn't any actual padding or fluff in this pad. It's literally a thin half size pad with a fuzzy liner. So if that's all you need it is perfect bc the price is unbeatable. However, if you need true whither relief or some real fluff to pad your horse's back, this is completely insufficient. It should be called a liner instead of a real half pad. Our horse, for example has mild kissing spine and he prefers some pillowy fluff between his back and the saddle. We haven't tested this on him, but I may not risk the test at all. We just got him calm and happy under saddle and I'd rather not change anything yet.

Perfect wither pad and reasonably priced. Works with my 19 inch Aussie, which is tough to find.
