Designed to make jewelry repair, improvement, and creation easier, the Beadsmith Parallel Pliers are an excellent addition to any jewelry making or jewelry repair kit. Made from high-quality polished steel, these tools are durable, heavy duty, and built to last. Because of their innovative design, these pliers enable you to straighten or bend metal wire or soft metals to create amazing jewelry pieces. Despite the strong jaws, you won't have to worry about scratching or marring metal surfaces. They feature a unique compound construction that allows the jaws to stay parallel to each other. Even under firm pressure, they provide a flat, consistent grip, unlike standard pliers that apply angled, uneven pressure that can cause items to slip out of the jaws. All of these features allow for comfortable use and precision in all of your beading, jewelry, and DIY crafting projects. Now you can create matching friendship charms, a pair of earrings, or a beautiful necklace. Whether you're a professional jewelry artist or a hobby crafter, this slim plier tool makes a great addition to your art and craft supplies. Because these pliers are so versatile, they make a great gift for Christmas, a birthday, or any special occasion. Help your friends, family, and loved ones develop their creative and artistic talents with this straightening or bending tool. It makes it easy to create beautiful pieces of jewelry! No matter what kind of wire you're using, these pliers are durable and built to last. Making DIY jewelry and fashion accessories has never been easier! You can create straight wires in no time. Your hobby should be fun and simple. Don't settle for old tools that break easily — this set of pliers is heavy duty, convenient, and easy to use.

parallel pliers vs regular pliers

Parallel pliers are used when uniform pressure is required.

They feature a unique compound box joint that enables the jaws to stay parallel to each other. Even under firm pressure, they provide a flat, consistent grip, unlike standard pliers that apply angled, uneven pressure that can cause items to slip out of the jaws.

For anyone who makes jewelry this is a MUST have. It’s a solid tool that really grips and easily tightens jump rings and other metal pieces; much more so that the smaller tools we all have in our kits. It’s slightly bigger than I’d like it but I have small hands. But doesn’t deter me from using it though. I love this tool and highly recommend it.

These pliers are well made and should last a long time. They are ideal when you need a lot of holding surfaces for objects; that's why the jaws move in parallel to one another. These are almost perfect for my needs. The handles have some texture but still slip in your hands when gripping them. If they had more texture or a non-slip plastic coating, they would be much better, and I'd have given them 5 stars.

I’ve used these regularly for about a month for silversmithing. They have been a decent pair with the only comment that they are a little slick and they slip out of my hands easier than I would like.
