These are pretty unremarkable ceramic firepit stones and by that I mean they are high quality that I don’t worry will shatter and cause damage to anything in the surrounding area. They don’t chip or flake in my fire pit which is an actual wood firepit. I got these to make starting the fire easier. I lined the bottom of my firepit with these balls so I can just splash some alcohol on them and add a flame. They are absorbent enough to hold onto the alcohol while I add small branches or yard debris to get it going. I use my fire pit to dispose of branches, yard debris and non-treated lumber scraps so these have gotten a good workout without ever causing a problem. These might seem a little pricey, but over time they will pay for themselves since alcohol is cheap but fire starters aren’t and those leave some residue. Good find that I give all the stars to.

Makes my fire pit look cool and techno. Burns well and stays put, despite being quite lightweight. I did put a screen top on the top of the pit to ensure they don't blow away in a gust of wind. Nice change from the fake logs look. I organized them in a tall triangle - type shape and put colorful glass beads around them - then put new lava rock around the outer edges. Much needed modern improvement!

These fire pit balls are great. They seem to be solid so you don't have to worry about them cracking and leaving shards of ceramic all over your fire pit like others. They look great and you get a nice variety of sizes.

Stones are round, various sizes and all arrived intact. They really enhance the fire pit and give off a nice glow. Feels like they do a much better job at transmitting heat than the random rock like stones I used previously.

I have an ammo can fire pit. It just has burners with nothing to defuse the flames. For a small fire pit, these were perfect. For something larger, it will get very pricey.

These are very nice stones. Lightweight and look real. I put them in my outdoor gas fire pit. The only problem is that there is not enough of them. Would take 6+ sets of these to cover the 3'x3' area. That makes them an expensive option when a $15 package of rock (not lavarock) from another fireplace store filled up the whole area. They hold some heat to make a radiant heating effect. Really, they are more for looks than heat. With enough of them I think it would make for a beautiful fire pit.
