This is a lifesaver as the contractor didn’t bother to care his big dirty feet were ruining our 7k worth of new high end carpet. Without this our carpet would’ve been junk and we’re so impressed as it sticks well but leaves no residue when removed. Get it and keep your carpet safe!

If you have an areal rug as a runner on your stairs this will not stick to it. Only sticks to carpet

We are training a cat and got this to prevent her from peeing on our area rug. The film is super thin and flimsy, and it doesn’t stick to the rug. We’ve vacuumed, and used a steam cleaner on it, there is no fluff that’s coming off on it and there is no residue. It’s just kind of a cheap film. I ran out of the roll I got from Home Depot, and that stuff works way better.Also, when I got my package, it was clear that it had been repackaged. They forgot to remove the ‘Part of a Set, Do Not Separate’ sticker from the remaining plastic wrap.Do not recommend. Buy the one from Home Depot or Lowe’s instead.

I use this on my stairs when workers are at my house. We do not wear shoes indoors and some companies don’t allow shoes to be removed and booties are annoying if the person has to keep going back to the truck for supplies. It’s sticky and stays where you put it. If you have a partner to help you lay it it is much easier. It will stick to itself. Think of a huge roll of packing tape.
