Your cart is empty.The single biggest improvement of ride quality out of the entire line of Dodge Ram Components. The OEM sway bar's torsion rate is extremely high and it almost marries the front axle to the chassis. You notice this the most in low speed offset bumps, such as crossing speed bumps one tire at a time and entering or exiting a driveway at an angle where you feel an abrupt side to side rocking of the entire rig. The first thing you feel with Carli Sway Control is a "detached" feel of the axle and chassis... finally they are allowed to work independently of each other without undo movement. High speed performance is greatly improved and you instantly feel that the back end of the truck comes around much better which gives you drive out of corners. If you feel a harsh response of your front end on low speed activity, just think what it's doing during high speed. The factory sway bar gives the truck a lazy feel in corners while you still experience body roll. With a lighter torsion rate and adjustable arm design, the high speed cornering of your Dodge Ram will be a natural cycle of weight exchange, followed by the suspension "setting" in the corner. The first kit I ordered was missing the mounting brackets and some hardware. I have to request a refund and reorder it rather than exchange. 1470$ to get all of the parts needed. Eventually that refund will show up.The install was pretty rough. I greased the bushings and the rod before pounding it through. One bushing was okay but it chewed the other up. I used some all thread spun into the bar and different washers and sockets to pull the bar through the mounts and then press the bushing back into place. I tried two different mallets and several hammers w/wood blocks to get the arms on the splines. Tried grease, a flap disc to knock down edges and heat to try and soften the arms. Nope. I resorted back to the all thread and hardware to press the arms onto the sway bar.If I had to do it again, I would put the mounts and arms on the bar before bolting anything to the truck. Less struggling under the truck and it would be easier to make sure the arms are aligned.The ride definitely improved. Its much softer on single side bumps and curbs.

I would have given the Carli Sway Bar 5-stars but I had to spend part of the day refabing the steering box stabilizer for clearance issues. Other than the rework of the steering stabilizer, this product blows the OEM sway bar out of the water for handling improvement off road. The Carli Sway Bar is so much better than the OEM bar when navigating non-maintained forest service roads with large rocks and washes. The Carli Sway Bar gives a much improved ride over the rocky areas and allows you to actually stay in the seat when wheeling.If the ride of your Ram is too harsh, consider this sway bar.

Definitely smoothed out the ride.But when you sacrifice ridgidity you sacrifice handling in the curves. But I’m not racing my truck through the curves. In my opinion it doesn’t look real beefy but it does give the truck a nice look. I’m happy with it and I got my moneys worth. For what I do with this truck it’s perfect.

Read about this on the Cummins forum and people were saying good things. At $700 its pricey but Carli uses high end components and the fit is excellent. I have a 2007 3500 mega and this torsion bar provides much better ride and handling characteristics. I would do it again.

Excellent. Carli Suspension is top of the line products. Love the way it drives now. Highly recommend this kit. (Does NOT work with ‘most’ steering braces)
