It works but the adhesive strip is for inside mounting.The tinted glass dims the light by at least 30%I had to mount on the outside of the rear window opposite the prepared adhesive for it to be somewhat brighter.

Bought this product. Worked well only for three months then started to flicker. Now it’s been 6 months and some sections of the LED light strip don’t even work (Look at picture). Disappointed!!

So far I have only bench tested it, not really impressed just yet.While looking at it it doesn't appear that the lights inside the channel are centered from one end to the other.Description claims to be good for a jeep patriot but my glass has no border, nor the tailgate.The adhesive is not on the bottom but the side, but without a ledge or border it will be completely exposed and sticking on it side will make the efficiency of the light questionable.

Installed on the inside back window of a third generation Camaro. The wire needed to be extended in order to reach the rear brake light connector. Works great and looks great too. This is a good option for adding a third brake light to a classic car for some extra safety. Price was very reasonable too.

Bought this for 2011 Ford Expedition for more lighting! States that it has a steady low glow light on when lights are on, but that is incorrect. Also tape is not very good at adhering to glass. Had to use gorilla glue to keep it on. Bright brake light, I will say, but tape used is not good quality!

only comes with two wires, not three, so it will not act as a running light and brake light as advertised, had to return. DO NOT RECOMMEND unless you just want a third brake light only!

My center brake light failed, and for a 14yo car, they wanted ~$200 for a replacement. For $12 for this strip, I ended up with a better light than the original.I bought this strip, wired it up easily (to the failed center brake light power cables, not to a tail light as the instructions show) and it’s immediate, bright, and the perfect width to be highly visible without making you look like some kind of goofy punk kid driving a car lit up like a Christmas tree. I like it better than the original center OEM brake light (before it croaked). Worth every penny.
