This is an item you really need in your kit for camping, but it also has other uses - hanging plants, hanging lanterns outside, hanging alongside a hammock, etc. The quality is fine, not like the most heavy duty but just fine, and it comes with some carabiners, so it's a good value for the price.

First - this is a very solid campsite strap and is of good enough quality that I will likely use it in my garage and/or basement when not camping. It's great to have a way to keep the miscellaneous things up off the floor or ground.It is packaged in a nice box that makes it suitable for gifting to the outdoorsy person of your choice. Be aware, though, that it is pretty heavy. Completely fine for car camping, but if you are ordering it with the idea that you might bring it for traveling -as I was thinking about - the weight is enough that I would not want it in my suitcase. For camping, though, this is one of those things that you envy when you see folks at other campsites with them - they are SO handy for clothes, pots and pans, towels - you name it. I would order again.
