Good quality chain. I haven't tested its strength but seems good enough.

I cut it into two parts and made a pair of tail gate supports.

Purchased this to leash my Yeti cooler in my truck bed. Much cheaper and sturdier than most things marketed for the task. Loop it through the tie-down anchor, locked the end links together on the cooler bracket. Boom! Crackhead proof (ish)

Most chain at big box centers sell 14 foot chain at about $48. I need a much shorter one to pull out bushes. This chain worked great. The closing link at the hooks were helpful in locking up the chain to my high lift jack. I have so far yanked out 12 bushes; each about 4ft tall. It is great value for money. I recommend it for lifting bushes. Might need a strong chain for lifting a fence post buried in concrete.

Heavy duty - quite well made. I bought the 3,500 lb model. Very pleased. In response to the concerns expressed about the even number of links, I cut mine to bolt it onto the trailer tongue. Because one hole on the tongue is positioned in front of the other, I cut one link in the chain and ended up with two pieces of chain, one with one link more than the other. But after I bolted the longer one onto the back hole in the tongue and the shorter one onto the front hole, the two pieces of chain extended exactly the same distance from the head. So for some trailers, an even number of lengths works better than an odd number!

I have used this product to hold up my water filled punching bag and it has been raining on a daily basis since i put it up. It holds the heavy bag well and also resists rust. Love it.

I'm not sure about using these as safety chains (maybe on a very small utility trailer) but they were perfect for my use to connect a chain link fence panel behind my riding arena drag to smooth the footing surface. It was just as cheap (and easy!) to buy these instead of going to the store and buying all the parts to make them. Handy to have around.

It's a trailer safety chain, nothing too fancy. Out of the bag you can tell it's not going to be the strongest chain - but it will certainly do the job. Alternately you can turn this into a poorly conceived pair of nunchucks to battle off monsters.
