Your cart is empty. The Eaz-Lift ReCurve R3 is a weight distribution hitch with a 600 lb. maximum tongue weight rating that features adjustable sway control. By simply adjusting the clamp, you can decide how much sway control is exerted on the trailer. The ReCurve R3 will distribute the weight of your trailer across the axles of the tow vehicle and provide as much sway control as you choose. Or, turn the sway control completely off in dangerous or icy road conditions. Its top-loading spring bars give it more ground clearance than other hitches, and the streamlined design makes the hitch and the trailer move as one, while creating a sleek look. Includes a 2 5/16-inch hitch ball with a 15,000 lb. maximum rating.

The top loading bars without chains is a definite improvement, as is the built-in sway control.

Binds and pushes when you use the anti-sway. Horrible experience with this hitch. Works great with weight distribution.

This hitch is nice. Easy to install. The anti sway features is easy to adjust and is relatively quiet

UPDATE: We are out camping now. We had a quick little 2 hour drive with 20mph crosswinds and the trailer never swayed at all. I was extremely happy with the way this hitch towed. It was really good. I’m glad I went with this one.I spent almost a month researching weight distribution hitches with sway control. I called tech lines, hours looking at reviews and design vs ability. The equalizer is hands down the most widely used hitch. I didn’t like how the bars were below the tongue though and a lot of the others just didn’t look like they were quality enough to trust.I ended up settling on the Camco EAZ-Lift Recurve R3 with 400lb bars. I also had to order the 2” Camco ball instead of the standard 2 5/16 ball. I installed it all today and it was pretty easy with making sure all the setup/adjustments were done correctly. I loaded up the family (5 of us and 2 German shepherds) and went cruising around the city on different roads with the TT. My TT is 3’500lbs fully loaded with a 390lb tongue weight. We can get some pretty gnarly winds around here in Kansas City (KS & MO). It was a calm day today so I can’t speak on the sway control just yet, but overall it worked really well and helped the ride a lot. It also is much easier to back with than the equalizer. We’ll be taking our first trip this season next weekend, so I’ll probably update this more once we get more miles on it.

Both of these reviews are not helpful. The top one says the listing does not specify what weight rating the hitch is for and it clearly says 400lb.The second one is a broken box? So you write a evil 1 star review because the box broke open?I bet if you called recurve , they would fix your problem right awa

I would give it a 5 star but the item does not specify what the load range is for the tongue weight and max trailer weight. Recurve makes 3 models in the R3 ranging from 600lb tongue/6000lb trailer weight to 1200lb tongue/12000lb trailer weight. I now have to return or sell it. Please include this description in the item.

The package was broken open and the sank is missing. We wanted to go camping this weekend. This is terrible!
