i need this due to a broken back and spinal fusion so i can not bend... It does not work...i even tried used hygiene wips...they all kept getting loose or even falling out

Not the easiest device to use. Takes practice to attach toilet paper and then get mechanism to release the used toilet paper. If you don't have anyone to wipe your rear than this device will help.

It's a piece of junk don't waste your money. I ordered it two times because the first one broke. When I got my second one it also broke same spot within 2 months. I lost my money twice.

This is a great idea for those of us who have problems with our backs going out from time to time. I snagged it because last time, I couldn't twist around enough to wipe for over a month without making my back hurt worse.This holds on to the toilet paper better than I expected it to after reading the instructions. I can appreciate the design and shape, but the release button stuck the first time I pushed it. I had to pull it back out of the handle and it felt like it was not working properly. Clearly this is not going to last long, but hopefully I can get my money's worth before it breaks. I appreciate the silicone easy to clean materials. It will also hold a wipe, which is important since I prefer to follow up with one for a cleaner wipe. Mine tend to rip a little easier than I would prefer and it looks like this could be a process if you have a real mess to clean up, but it's still better than hurting yourself twisting around.

I received this tool in hopes it would help during recovery after rotator cuff surgery. I bought it prior to surgery to work out any issues beforehand. To my surprise, it works well. Follow directions, don't get frustrated, allow yourself time to get used to it. Simple product design. I like it.

I broke both my femur on one side and shoulder on the other. I was in a wheelchair for 80 days. For the first month any time I had a bowel movement I needed someone to wipe me as I couldn’t reach that far. One day when I was ordering the sock assistant I thought to research if anything existed for toileting.The feeling of independence this gave me was life changing.

This was recommended by a hospital employee after I had lower back surgery. There is a learning curve to this, but it actually does work if you take the time to figure it out. There’s no other way for me to reach the back side of myself, and this has been a lifesaver.
