Got them for my 6 years old. She said they are comfortable and sticky enough. She use them with thick socks right now, hopefully her feet will not grow too fast, I'm hoping 6 months from these at least. Her feet are size 12 right now in regular shoes, I got her size 1. Size up at least two sizes for kids.

A review from a 10 year old: “I like them a lot better than the gym shoes. (Butora Enoki and La Sportiva Stick-It.) They stick to the holds better and I could do things that I wasn’t able to do before. They are a little tight on the toes, but they are climbing shoes so that’s pretty normal. I felt safer to try things when I was climbing because I wasn’t afraid my feet would slip.”

These run small even compared to other climbing shoes. My son wears 2 in regular shoes, and he couldn’t even squeeze his feet into 3. Will have to return

These shoes are absolutely beautiful and very well-made. Rock climbing shoes generally run small compared to street shoes, so the negative reviews based on sizing should be disregarded, as the purchasers must not have much experience with climbing shoes. My son had outgrown his madrock size 1 shoes, and I wanted a little growing room, so I got these in a size 3. You can see from the picture they are exactly like what you’d expect from size 3 climbing shoes. If you have never bought climbing shoes before, you should plan on buying several sizes and returning the ones that are too small. The fact that the shoes are small isn’t the fault of the company, it’s just the way climbing shoes are meant to fit, and it’s industry standard.
