Used it few times so far and I like the tool very much.Yes, someone may use exactly 1/2lb, 1/3lb, or 1/4 lb ground meat for the preset press settings. I found that for each new batch of ground meat i worked with, I needed a little bit of weight/amount adjustment (+/-) to achieve uniform and near perfect results. It usually takes me couple of initial adjustments in the amount of ground meat I press with the tool. Once I like the result then I use a kitchen scale to measure the weight of this first burger and then I complete the rest by using that amount/weight.

I highly recommend this. I buy burger meat in 10lb chubs and can make perfect pattys with this ready for the freezer. No more handy party’s that ball up on the grill.

Wanted a press to do 1/4LB patties and smash burgers. This gets it done!

40lbs of 80/20 at 1/3, uniform sizing made cooking control of doneness easy, freezing with paper speration made speration easy. The stuffing feature made for customized burger a breeze. Well worth the investment. Saved time as well. Easy clean up also.

No instructions & clean up isn't very easy. Not worth the gas to send in to return.

I have used this four times to make a dozen burgers at a time. It’s okay, but I would not recommend it. My son eats a couple burgers everyday and I wanted to find a way to prepare and freeze them and make them all consistent. Doesn’t come with directions. First time I used I weighed the meat but it squished out the bottom of the mold and it was messy. Used less meat, but then I have to keep adding meat and press more than once. Now I use a messing cup, I mean really, who wants to weigh every burger, that is not making life easier. So I use a rounded 1/3 cup to make a 1/3 lb burger. But I still have to add a little meat and press again, because if you put all the meat in first, it squishes out the bottom. The burgers look nice and are consistent, and it is getting easier each time I use it. But there has to be something easier to use out there.
