Bought these because adult son wanted flattened burgers. They work for that very well. They are very heavy as specs describe.They are also quite large for our skillet. If the weight and dimensions are what you are looking for, they will definitely work well. Personally, I am not a fan of any item like this, but I have no problem with this brand.

we use these non stop!! we have them for our home & camper!! the quality is so good & we love them them & usually them WEEKLY.quality: 5 stars!appearance: very nice considering not bad price wise! great deal in value!they aren’t very big in size & fit perfectly in storage!they are heavy, but not bad & good for flattening bacon, that’s a plus in my book!!

I've used these for smash burgers, as a bacon press, steaks, and even toasting buns. I love that these have groves to it creates depth in what I press. I also love the wooden handles. It makes it safe to grab/hold. I definitely recommend this set.
