Does its job. Very easy to clean. I love that the handle detaches for better storage. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it does make the patties more flimsy than if I shape them with my hand. Overall a good product for the price!

I remember years ago when a "quarter pound" burger was a big deal. And if it's at someone else's house, I'll still be grateful. But lately I've preferred a larger, 5 oz+ burger. This burger press does the job nicely. I like to make a couple of pounds worth head of time (six burgers), air-freeze, then store in a zip-lock bag. Many people don't know that you can cook a burger from frozen almost as fast as you can from fresh. The only thing I don't like about this press is the handle, which screws in, tends to come loose. Probably fixable with some super-glue, but having the handle come off does make for easier storage. I'm happy with my purchase and figure it will give me years of service. Why not 5 stars? Well I reserve that for something that's really amazing. Things like this are useful and functional but let's not go overboard!Happy cooking all
