These pots are durable, long lasting, keep hot beverages HOT for hours and have been our workhorse thermos in our deli/cafe for almost 15 years. Much better than glass lined vacuum thermoses.

When it arrived, I immediately gave it a careful quick wash and then filled it with boiling water. Closed it up and checked it the next day. My water was still very hot. I was happy. Happier still when we had a gathering of people at our home and made coffee for the crowd. It worked great. Even got a couple of compliments on how nice and hot the coffee stayed throughout the meeting. It a keeper for me.

Lever has a cheap plastic! link which breaks repeatedly on an otherwise good product. This forces people to buy an overpriced lid replacement or switch brands. Disappointing as the company has a LOT of complaints about this weak plastic piece but appears to be ignoring the consumer.

We have used BUNN airpots and BUNN coffee makers in the past and have found them to be very reliable. The airpots keep the hot drinks hot several hours later as if they had just come off the coffee maker or from the teapot. To date we have had no opportunity to test cold drinks so can't vouch for those. BUNN airpot comes highly recommended.

Solid construction and well designed to be able to take off the top for cleaning. I've been very pleased with it.The length of time it keeps a beverage hot depends, amongst other factors, on how full it is. Filled with hot coffee in the morning, it will still have hot coffee by afternoon. The style of operation is quite nice in that it minimizes the contact a person has with the pot, and you can easily have a napkin or such if you don't want to touch the handle directly (in consideration of the squeemishness exhibited in the modern pandemic era). The handle is cast metal. The fluid chamber is entirely stainless steel, as is the suction tube. The discharge portion, which only has fluid contact as it is pouring out, is plastic.

Since my last percolator died, I've been using a French press. It makes great coffee, but has the annoying property that by the time I'm finished with my first 16oz travel mug the remainder has cooled to room temperature.I tried a thermal carafe, but it only keeps coffee hot for 2 hours at best. If I guzzle my coffee I can enjoy it all, but if I sip it at my leisure it's lukewarm by the time I go back for seconds. Thirds if any are room temperature.I got so tired of dumping cold coffee that I decided in invest in an airpot. An airpot is a Thermos-like vacuum insulated urn with a pump, which promises to keep the coffee hot for 4 to 6 hours, twice as long as a thermal carafe. But I'm skittish about such purchases: I try not to buy non-electronic durable goods from "marketplace" retailers who don't curate their selections, because the majority of products are rubbish waiting to be sent back to the landfill. It can be a gamble. That's why I was pleased to see a Bunn airpot at a reasonable price. It's too large for my needs -- the French press has taught me to live on about a liter of coffee per day, and the less full an airpot is, the more quickly it loses heat -- but there are no question marks in my mind about quality. The airpot does the job. It keeps the coffee hot until I'm ready to drink it. The third cup is not as hot as the first, but it's still too hot to guzzle. Best of all, this product is designed to outlive its own warranty. if it breaks I can get replacement parts instead of chucking it in the trash and hoping that my next gamble pays off.The French press thing is starting to get old, too. I hope the Bunn GRB coffee maker lives up to the company's reputation as well as its airpot has.

so far it has been great. No problems with the pump and it keeps stuff hot for a reasonable time and is of good quality. Its quick and easy to clean. We like it very much. My wife thinks it could be prettier but being a guy I'm not sure what that means. After almost 4 years I bought a replacement pump and also a new straw. The old pump was getting so it didn't pump very fast anymore. The new pump fills a cup in two pumps while the old one was taking 5-6 or more. Also, the new straw seems to flow more fluid. I'm not sure why. I clean the straw with a long narrow brush but its not possible to access all of the interior of the straw because it has two 90 degree bends. It would be better if the straw could be disassembled for cleaning. I bought both because Amazon had a cheap deal on the straw. If not for that deal on the straw it would be cheaper to buy a whole new airpot since the cost of a new pump plus a new straw at regular price is more than a new airpot

I'm picky about coffee; I want it to remain as hot as when I first poured it, or as nearly so as possible. This mighty stainless steel pot is the one I've been searching for.First, the size. Read it carefully, as the dimensions are stated clearly. It's a BIG pot and will hold a huge amount of coffee, enough to supply a couple of serious coffee drinkers through the day and possibly the night as well. However, if you make a small pot of coffee, it will function just as well and keep it just as hot.Workmanship: I wish everything was made half as well as this pot, with its stainless steel exterior and interior. You may have noticed that items made of stainless steel vary greatly in quality of the metal, with some of them seeming more like tin than stainless steel. This is excellent quality metal, beautifully finished and handsome. The stainless steel interior works better than glass for retaining heat, and is much less fragile. There are inevitably some plastic parts (those that couldn't be made of metal for functional reasons), but they're substantial, look nice, and feel as if they'll last forever.Ease of use: For a simple device, it's surprising how many things go wrong with lesser versions of the airpot. The Bunn dispenses smoothly, provides a whole cup without being pressed a second time, doesn't drip, splash or leak, and has worked perfectly for us with frequent use. I note others have said you should close the pump lid in order to keep the coffee hot. We haven't done this, and haven't needed to, but I'd give it a try if I were going to be using the airpot in a place that was less warm than the kitchen of my home.Cleaning: There are varying opinions to be found here as to the ease/difficulty of cleaning the airpot. It cannot be put in the dishwasher (please don't try!) and is a bit awkward to handle because the top comes open on a hinge and can't be removed. This isn't a design flaw, but is simply the only way to make an airpot. I wouldn't say it's exactly easy to clean due to the awkwardness of handling it with the lid open, and inability to reach inside with anything except a bottle brush. It must then be repeatedly rinsed, turning the pot upside down to get water and suds out (more difficult in practice than it sounds). If you're the type of person who puts everything in the dishwasher and would find it onerous to clean something like an electric percolator, you might not be too happy. Personally, I'm more than willing to take the five minutes or so that's required to clean this pot in exchange for a whole day and most of an evening of instantly available VERY HOT coffee.Additional: the pot has a substantial carrying handle, which we've used to move it around the house without incident or leakage. It's handsome in the way of very well made things, and we've enjoyed it so much that we were inspired to make it the centerpiece of a little coffee station that has become a favored spot in our house.
