I bought this for making gas cap gaskets for old cars. Usually, the gaskets that come on gas caps for 1960's and prior autos are rather poor. This material makes a better sealing gasket that can last longer this the cap uses a flat gasket.Very fuel resistant, and you don't have to buy a new gas cap. Getting replacement gaskets can be impossible to get, and even if possible, may cost more than getting a sheet of buna-N rubber. Easily cuts with lightly serrated scissors such as the cheap ones used to cut medical tape. Also cuts with leather punches.

I used this material to make a diaphragm for a harbor freight air compressor for which parts are not available. Surprisingly the home made diaphragm is working well and the air compressor is running again.
