Likes:- product arrives in a lovely gift box with crinkle paper for gifting- generous amounts of product- lovely smell - supposed to be lavender vanilla; vanilla is heavier to me than the lavender- scrub is lightweight and gentle on skin; rinses off well- lotion absorbs quickly and leaves skin smooth feelingDislikes:- the scent, while lovely, is VERY strong and takes a while to disappear - if sensitive to smells, this would not be a good choiceNotes:- I can't verify the product claims that it prevents stretch marks and stops itching. I did not use it for this purpose. I ordered the product because I liked the scent option and wanted something to help with dry skin. It definitely left my skin feeling softer after use.

I'm very impressed with this "Body Boost" kit. First, it's American-made! And, there's no doubt a few mammas were involved in the making of this two-piece "bump love" kit. It just has a woman's touch to it. The ingredients used in both the belly butter and the sugar scrub are quality ingredients. The belly butter has just a hint of lavender and vanilla -- enough to make a pregnant woman feel special without inducing nausea. And the butter is loaded with a variety of oils and shea butter -- some of my favorite ingredients when it comes to tackling skin issues. The sugar scrub is just as nice, with jojoba and coconut oil and the soft herbal fragrance of chamomile.Only a "mamma" would understand the importance of adding subtle sweet smells of lavender or chamomile -- two fragrances that soothe and calm without overwhelming the senses. This little duo makes a lovely gift for that expectant woman -- whether she be a daughter-in-law, sister or co-worker. It's very affordable -- not outrageously over-priced -- making it very simple to show some love and care long before the baby arrives.

Sometimes I'm a bit skeptical of combined product offerings. So many of them just don't pan out as they should, especially with some of the off brands. Not such a problem here. Both of these items are actually pretty good. The body scrub is nice and gritty. Works great to exfoliate the skin. Will remove lots of dead skin cells and other debris. Plus it contains emollients that leave the skin nice and moisturized. The body butter is pretty good too. Only helps with firming up the skin so much, but does firm it up somewhat. What I really love is how well that it moisturizes the skin. It's actually pretty dense. That alone makes this worth using. The only thing that I would have you be mindful of is the scent. Though I'm not in love with the scent it is nice. Most will probably like this scent. What you need to be aware of is that it does have a somewhat strong scent. That won't do for those who are scent intolerant. But as far as I'm concerned, I much prefer it having a scent. Those of us who enjoy a nice scent shouldn't go without because there are those who can't use such products. If this is meant to be a gift for someone, make sure they are okay with scented products, especially a pregnant woman. If they can, than this is a nice option that will be good for their skin.

I like the body scrub because it has a nice texture and feels like it's exfoliating my skin. The moisturizer on the other hand not so much. The scent is too strong. It doesn't smell horrible but it's very strong and it's all i can think about when applying.

This set is wonderful, any mom to be needs some pampering and these two products combined would give her that spa like experience at home. The set is presented very nicely so it is definitely giftable. The scents are very strong, which I love about it, but as I’m sure a lot of moms know, a heightened sense of smell is very common in pregnancy, so the scent might not be for everyone. The scrub is excellent. I feel it has a more lavender scent then anything else, but that’s okay with me since lavender has a calming effect. As you can see in my picture the granules are pretty small so it gives a more gentle exfoliation, making it great to use often or even daily. The cream is nice and luxurious feeling, very thick and creamy. I love the scent more with the cream. I feel you can smell the vanilla more with the cream than with the scrub. Together they make a great combination and leaves your skin feeling so soft and smooth!Even though this is geared towards helping to prevent stretch marks I honestly feel anyone would love this great combination for smooth, soft skin, great gentle exfoliation with a wonderful hydrating cream!

For starters, the packaging of this kit is so cute! It would be a nice for a gift for someone who is expecting.I’m halfway through my current pregnancy and have been using the Stretch Mark Butter nightly, I’ve had no stretch marks so far! It smells amazing and leaves my belly feeling so soft and smooth. The Raw Sugar Scrub leaves my skin feeling clean and rejuvenated. It exfoliates well while also leaving my skin soft.If you are currently expecting, the scent could be too strong for you. I personally love the scent and couldn’t get enough of it, but if you don’t like strong / perfume scents I would keep this in mind.
