Functionally this bar tape is fine. It has a decent fine texture that adds some extra grip. The night gray design looks great in the product photos. But in person it looks more like part of the bar tape just has some dirty residue on it. Knowing this, I would have probably preferrred just a uniform design on the full length of the tape. I do like that the finishing tape is unbranded just plain satin black.

Inexpensive bar tape has come a long ways. This tape has your standard adhesive on the back and sticks well enough. It is elastic enough to stretch in a normal installation. Like anything if you pull hard enough it might rip but that didn't feel like an issue here. The tape is not super thin, and has a good cushy feel to it. The rubber surface has good grip. Its not exactly tacky but it feels nice in the hands. The first 8 inches of one of the rolls I received feels like the rubber is drier than the rest of the roll. It's a little strange its almost like it had sat forever or something. It installed fine and did not crack but still had a noticeably dry feeling compared to the rest of the roll. All in all this is good value bar tape. This is as good as more expensive tape from 10 years ago.

I have a green road bicycle (not Bianchi green but more of an emerald or forest green) and I am always on the look out for suitable shades of green handlebar tape. It's not a common thing to find. So when I saw this, I jumped on it. It's not perfect since the green does a fade to black over the length of the tape. It's actually a pretty nice effect, though my preference is for green from one end of the tape to the other. But that said, I can live with the green/black fade.Color esthetics aside, this tape checks all the usual boxes that one expects from a roll of handlebar tape. It's long enough to fully a tape a standard set of handlebars. It's a reasonable thickness to provide good grip and just a little bit of padding. (I don't care for the super thick handle bar tapes myself. If super thick is something you want, this may not be the tape for you.) It seems pretty durable and should hold up pretty well. This tape comes with friction fit bar plugs -- something I don't care for since they seem to always, sooner or later, reach point where the plugs don't stay in as well as one would like. I have some expansion plugs that came with a previous set of bar tape that I reuse when I install new handlebar tape.

The color / design was enough to convince me to try this wrap, but what I liked even more was the grip. They're a little plush without being puffy, so I like the tiny bit of extra padding I'm getting. They also have a great grip, similar to the texture of the Lizard Skin DSP's I've been using the last couple years. The extra tack might mean they pick up more dirt, but these are pretty affordable so I might actually get around to changing my tape as often as I'm supposed to.

The Bucklos Bike Tape is a lightweight, spongy tape that provides excellent grip. It is easy to apply and remains securely in place. The orange color is a burnt orange, leaning towards a rusty hue, while the black is a dark, solid black. The pattern is visible but subtle, making it easy to mix and match with other colors. I would give it five stars.

I got the "changecolor" grip color, which is kind of a glittery green-blue color with slight iridescence, but more on that later. The biggest problem and the main reason for the 3 stars is that the tape is nowhere close to being 3mm thick. I measured it and it's only about 1.3-1.4mm thick. This is not a very cushiony grip tape, and I personally prefer tape with more shock absorption ability. The color of the grip tape is not what I expected, and that's my bad for not looking at the photos closely. No matter what color you select, the majority of the tape is actually black. Take a close look at the photos. Only the first 10 inches of the tape is fully this color; after that, the next 19 inches of tape transitions from full color to partial color and then no color. The majority of this grip tape is all black. The black color feels very grippy, so if you install the tape as in the ad photos, the tops and hood areas will be grippy. But the parts of the tape with color feel less grippy, the more the color the less the grip, and finally the 10 inch section of tape with full color does not feel grippy at all (this translates to the last couple inches of the drops).
