When you find reaching difficult due to mobility problems, a bad back or even an injured elbow, shoulder, or wrist; personal hygiene after using the toilet can be a new challenge. This may mean that you find it difficult to, or simply can not wipe clean. The Buckingham Easywipe Bottom Wiper gives you a longer reach and is ideal for those who have limited reach or flexibility. Most other toileting aids require that you physically remove the soiled toilet paper compromising your personal hygiene, it overcomes this with a unique and comfortable gripping slot that secures the toilet tissue for a quick and easy wipe. Once you are ready to dispose of the toilet paper the quick release button on the top of the bottom wiper can be pressed to release the used toilet paper without needing to touch it. Since the toilet aid is compact it is a great addition for those needing a solution when leaving home, going on vacation, camping, or traveling without the need to take up extra space. It comes in a carrying case that is convenient and sanitary to store your toilet aid when not in use.

Would give 0 stars if possible. The hinge broke during the first use. I tried to use it with only the half of the wand after the hinge (making it half the intended length), but no dice. The hinge had the handle flopping, the head couldn’t hold tissue to save a life, and I left it in the airport garbage. Total waste of money and now I’m on a trip without this tool.Would definitely NOT recommend.

My health has limited my flexibility. Then insurance forced me to try a generic med instead of getting my regular name brand med. I swoll up like an overstuffed sausage. Wiping became impossible. I bought a wiping aid, but it was tedious to use and the TP was constantly falling off mid wipe. I needed another aid, for when the bathroom containing the first aid was in use. The first aid was almost impossible to keep clean and discretely put away between uses, and definitely wasn't portable. Thus, after a bit of research I bought this aid, and a couple others, to try.Although this aid isn't perfect, I like that it has a case and folds up to be discrete and more portable than the other aids I could find. It is also easier to load and it holds the TP far better than I expected. So far, all the aids I bought have the unfortunate problem of needing to have the TP manually removed. Because of this, I plan my usage to leave that part of the TP unsoiled. As for pushing the button, to open this aid, it is clearly not designed to be pushed by hand. Instead, I take a firm grasp of the handle and press the button against my leg to open the aid.Although instructions for most of these aids show a picture of someone stuffing a wad of TP into the hole and then wiping by using that side of the aid, that is the least effective way to attempt to use any of these aids. What I have found works the best is to make a roll of TP loosely around your hand, so it has a diameter of about 6". Flatten the roll and stick one folded side into the aid's grasping opening. Next, take the flattened roll of TP and wrap it all the way around the head of the aid. Finally, tuck the other folded side of the TP into the aid's grasping opening, making certain that both folded sides are securely tucked into the aid's opening. When you are sure the TP is firmly in place, trigger the spring that causes the aid to close its grasping opening. If done correctly, you can safely use the 1/2 of the TP that is on the opposite side from the aid's grasping opening without popping the spring or having the TP fall off the aid before ready. No matter what, it may take more than one application of TP in order to clean the area as well as if you didn't need an aid.Would I buy this one again. Yes. That's why I'm back. I need one for traveling.

Like folding feature but the metal clip at hinged or break not lined up with ridge that holds it open, had to get pliers and bend it up a bit. Nice travel case but a bitch to open. Has 2 closure points so you have to open each and it is devilish. 2 of us struggled with it. Needing help in bathroom does not help me be independent. Returning item. I use the standard non-folding tool so tp holder and length are great and thought this travel version would be a good thing. Not so good.

This has solved a serious problem now that I have arthritis and am overweight. It is easy to use, sanitary and cleans well. It is very discreet to take into a public restroom.I recommend using 15 sheets of toilet paper instead of the 10 recommended. Wrap it diagonally so that the end is covered and it extends onto the white part of the handle a bit. I usually wipe once, then remove the paper and rewrap with toilet paper for a second wipe to be sure. Then I wrap it with an oversized wet wipe (Medline ReadyFlush Large Adult-Sized 8 x 12 Personal Cleaning Cloths--available on Amazon). The best way is to fold the wet-wipe sheet longways around the blue end part so that the end is enclosed, then tuck in the two top pieces of the wipe, pull lightly to stretch it around the tip and tuck it in tightly in the grip slot. Now you're squeaky clean!

This thing has changed my life in a significant way. I am a obese person that struggles with reaching when it comes to using the restroom. It becomes even more difficult in tight enclosed restrooms such as when out in public facilities.. If your obese you probably know what I mean. This is the only travel assist wipe that I've ever seen. I have had one of these for about a year now and it finally broke in half. I was disappointed, but I know I put more pressure on it than I should have. If you buy this, keep in mind that it is somewhat fragile. You must remember not to apply too much pressure. I have some of the home versions of this type and they ending up breaking also, so its not just the travel ones that break. I have never had a piece of toilet paper to ever slip off of the device. I know some others have said that, but I don't see how that could be an issue. From my experience, it is best to double or triple the paper and put it on diagonally. This will make for more coverage area and be sure to tuck the ends of the toilet paper in really well. I do have trouble getting the paper to release after use, so now I just unwrap it manually from underneath on the clean side. I would recommend this device to anyone who has trouble reaching no matter what the reason. I has really helped me significantly. I know it's a little on the expensive side but It has been worth every penny to me.

Since breaking my wrist I've needed something to assist me in reaching "back there" and have a couple wiper assists at home, but this was the first "travel" one of quality I've been able to find. Now I just keep it in the car and when I need it I can easily get to it. It folds perfectly into it's case and unfolds to use. Now it's not as sturdy as the solid single piece wiper assists but you wouldn't expect it to be, so be more careful with it. I've seen reviews where people said it broke and I'm sure with enough pressure anything can break... But putting the paper on correctly (play around with that as there are several ways that will work) then there is little need for pressure... And if you can't get the button on the bottom to release the paper, just take it off by hand... You DID always use your hands with the paper before remember...Great product
