I had made each member of my family one of Bucilla's felt stockings. When my grandson got engaged, I made this one for his bride-to-be. Grandson is married but still celebrating Christmas morning at his parents' home, and when I visit the new stocking is hanging with all the others.

Generally an easy project with a few challenges to keep it interesting. The green felt was very thin which caused some issues. The black embroidery floss was also poor quality and actually broke while I was stitching a couple times. Made a few artistic license changes but nothing major.

I have been making these stockings for many years. I can not remember the number I have done but I am a little disappointed In the quality of the felt in this kit. The red is almost see through.Definitely disappointed in the quality of this kit.

It looks really scary and complicated at first, but take your time read the directions and do it step-by-step. I started by doing three of these for my sons 20 years ago when they were younger, since then I’ve done one for each of their wives and for for my four grandchildren, so far!
