This is a high quality glass lamp shade with excellent detail. I especially like the beading at the bottom rim which shows nicely in this tripod stand. I've bought several glass and mica lamp shades from B&P, all high quality, and this shade does not disappoint.

I love this. I bought it as a replacement globe for a Gone with the wind lamp and it fits perfectly. The color is so beautiful that the lamp has become the focal point of my bedroom. Thank-you.

I was looking for a glass lamp shade to replace a vintage hand painted one which was shattered when the lamp was accidentally knocked off the table on which it stood. I found no hand painted shade that matched or complimented the hand painted base of my lamp which holds a night light bulb. I decided to order this shade because it coordinates with the colors of the hand painted lamp base. It is a very attractive shade, and I especially like the rich texture of the diamond quilted pattern. My only problem was that the base of the shade is a bit too large in circumference to rest inside the brass holder of my lamp, so I am using clear tape at the back of the lamp to keep the shade fastened to the holder. I doubt that I would have been able to find a standard replacement shade which would seat itself inside the brass holder of my lamp, as its diameter is a bit less than 7 ". I phoned B&P to ask about the diameter of the shade; and their representative said it was 6 3/4", but it's actually 6 7/8". Other than finding someone to fabricate a custom shade, this shade is the next best alternative; and I am glad to be able to save a favorite vintage lamp from what had seemed to be utter destruction.

I ordered the shade in green. It is so pretty, but wish it could have been a bit larger. I read the dimensions, but just pictured it bigger than it is. Kind of expensive too for such a small shade.
