Cutting across the grain of plywood can make the fence hard to keep on a steady track. However, cutting with the grain is a snap. This "Rip Fence" is designed to make repeatable cuts up to 5". For cross-cutting, I use the BORA 50” NGX Clamp Edge 544050 and BORA NGX Saw Plate RT Circular Saw Guide 546001. Both the Rip Fence and the Clamp Edge plus with the Guide make clean and accurate 4' x 8' cuts very doable. If your table saw is too small or unavailable, this is a GREAT solution.

Appears very well made and an excellent fit on my Porter Cable circular saw. The tang is 1/8 x 5/8” and should fit any saw with that receiver size.

Works great. Comes with screw and spring to secure it. Its a little hard to get the screw tigthened by hand but its alright. If needed you can use a slot screwdriver to tighten it real good. Rip guard is of good quality and works like a charm on my Bosch wormdrive. Good price!

No he usado el producto aún pero se siente sólido, de buena manufactura y resistente. Lo instalé en una sierra Craftsman con base de magnesio y quedó casi perfecta la guía, con menos de medio mm de holgura .Lo más importante es compartir las medidas, ya que eso buscamos quienes compramos estos accesorios y es algo frustrante que no se incluyan completas en la descripción:Ancho de la vara: 16mmEspesor de la vara: 4mmLargo total incluyendo borde (doblez) : 30.2 cmViene con un tornillo 3/16 con resorte.Hasta ahora puedo decir que es un excelente producto a un precio inmejorable en México.

Robusto y funcional, excelente producto; sabiendo asir la sierra funciona a la perfección, de manera versátil y fácil de usar.Siempre ignoré este accesorio y hasta hace unos días perdía el tiempo haciendo malabares para hacer cortes angostos al hilo, montando tablas o rieles de aluminio a manera de guías; sufriendo porque el ancho de la zapata y las dimensiones de la sierra circular, implican límites mínimos insalvables, que impiden realizar cortes muy angostos.Instale la guía y prácticamente en unos instantes, pude todos los cortes que no eran posibles por su angostura, o en los que invertía demasiado tiempo, colocando largas guías lineales.Por ahí vi un comentario, en el que se quejaban de su falta de estabilidad y de lo limitado de su longitud de corte; pero evidentemente esta guía no es para cortes anchos en paneles de madera, sino para cortes angostos al hilo en tablas de 12" hacia abajo, o para orillas en lineal o transversal.Por lo tanto su capacidad máxima de corte se ajusta perfectamente al ancho estándar de las tablas y tablones (12").En cuanto a la rectitud, ángulo y estabilidad del corte; recomiendo (que con la mano libre, es decir, con la que no está sujetando la sierra); se deslice hacia adelante el asa de la guarda, hasta topar con la orilla de la zapata y la guía de corte (ya instalada) presionar hacia abajo contra la cara de la madera que habrá de cortarse, asegurándose (con la vista y mediante el asentamiento horizontal de la zapata, sobre la misma cara de la madera) que la sierra se encuentra bien asentada en el ángulo requerido (90o, 45o, etc.); y en esas condiciones accionar la sierra, sosteniéndola firmemente auxiliándose al efecto, con la mano que sostiene la guarda.Al tiempo que presiona la orilla de la zapata hacia abajo, contra la cara de la madera; y el tope angular de la guía, contra la orilla de la madera.Felices cortes!!

I bought this hoping it would fit an older (1994) Skil 77 worm drive saw - it fits *perfectly.*. Both the thickness and width are a perfect fit, providing a good and reasonably tight fit in the slots in the shoe of the saw. This comes with a retaining screw and spring, which also fit - the screw is the correct size and thread pitch (10-32, if you're curious).Other than fit, there's not much to say: it's a rugged, well-made Bosch part and for less than $9 it's actually a good value these days.

Fits my Makita XSR01 rear handle 7 1/4" cordless saw. It's a reasonably solid fence and is cheaper than the Makita fence. Need also to buy a 6Mx15 wing bolt to fit the fence to that saw since the bolt included with this fence doesn't fit the Makita saw. I'm using the Hitachi 301806 wing bolt https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00O92PKPA/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1 which also works well with this saw and is cheaper than the Makita bolt that has to be bought separately.

Nice, robust metal, should be durable. Was not happy with the price and quality of the rip fences for my DeWalt portable 7-1/4 saw. I asked buyersfor the specs on the Bosch and measured my saw, and knew it was going to be close! Well, it was too close. The fence was just a hair too thick, maybe .005. No surprise, not a problem. I simply filed down the top, and sanded it smooth. Fits perfectly now. The screw didn't fit my DeWalt, which was no surprise. I found a nice, large thumb screw in my junk drawer, and it holds it very securely. Highly recommended, if it fits your saw.
