After trying all these attachments from China that don't fit, this one finally fits perfectly with my Bosch 4100XC table saw and my Dewalt 9.0 gallon Wet/Dry DXV09P vacuum.

Exactly what I needed for my Ridgid Table Saw. It fit on the inside, it wasn’t tight so I added a screw to hold it in place.

This is just what I needed. I recently set up a Bosch router table in the shop for periodic use and wanted to add dust collection with a mobile Festool vac we already had on-site. This looked like it'd do the trick and indeed it does; The Festool hose fits snugly in the small end of the adapter and the other end fits snugly in the router table's fence port. Couldn't ask for it to be more simple.Nothing fancy beyond that; It's just a piece of (seemingly durable) plastic that is perfectly shaped to give the above result. Each end is tapered a bit to accommodate tolerance deviations in manufacturing of different hoses/ports, but that's pretty standard on these sorts of things.

I bought this hoping that it could be used to plug a Festool dust collector into a 2 1/2 inch dust port. Fortunately the small end works great for the Festool hose end. The other end? They must be measuring it by passing a ruler past it going close to the speed of light. OD is 2 3/16 and ID is 2 1/8. I was able to adapt it for a 2 1/2 inch dust port by putting a short piece of 2 1/2 inch hose on it and tightening down the clamp almost until it ran out of thread. Then I attached the other end of the hose to the dust port. Not perfect but at least I can use my Festool vacuum with some tools that have standard sized ports - where I live.

The small end fits my Bosch VAC005 hose end! The other end fits my Ridgid Benchtop sander, DeWalt DW745 contractor saw, and Rockler dust port for router fence. I just ordered four more since the price is good to get them for all the tools they fit (still experimenting) and a couple of spares. Thank you Bosch! The Bosch hose is a great hose for the price, though not anti-static. With that hose and these fittings, I'll stay with Bosch.Wow! Something that works instead of trying to melt PVC and use duct tape, and rubber plumbing fittings with clamps that never work. Who knew it could be so easy? Why Rockler/Woodcraft/Peachtree/etc. don't make something like this is beyond me, I've been buying their fittings for years, and they rarely work as they should. Most of them sell Festool which is also 35mm.FWIW, I put bright orange duct tape on them so they don't get mixed in with all the other fittings I have that don't work.

Being a Bosch product specifically for the 4100 table saw, I'm just a tiny bit disappointed. The adapter works, but...My shop vac is my dust collector, and I switch my orange Ridgid hose between my Bosch 410p and my Dewalt compound miter saw.Whereas the hose fits the Dewalt without an adapter, for the past year I've been plugging the undersized hose end into the oversized Bosch opening. Barely effective, but better that spewing sawdust into the room. This Bosch adapter fits INTO the tablesaw's exhaust port opening. Not AROUND the exterior, as I expected. This means the hose end creates a lip inside where sawdust collects. Not the worst thing in the world, but something that could have been avoided had this adapter been designed to fit around the outside of the saw's exhaust port. The small end of the adapter is an extremely tight (i.e. difficult to fit) diameter to the hose. Just another 1/32 inch in reduced diameter at the very end would certainly address this complaint. Otherwise, the Bosch adapter interfaces very nicely with the hose.Once all the pieces are fit together, the connections are tight. Dust collection is about as good as can be expected, with the exception of the small amount of build-up left behind in the the saw's exhaust port due to the lip. Disconnection, about half the time, results in the adapter being pulled from the saw, which could have been avoided had the adapter been designer to fit AROUND the saw's exhaust port.In any case, it's better than no adapter, and despite my criticisms, I'm happy have it.

I have two of these which allows me to connect my Fein dust extractor to my Ridgid 12" compound miter saw, and also to my Porter+Cable 10" Hybrid Table Saw (TS10, now out of production). It does not prevent sawdust from migrating around the shop when using these tools, but it does minimize it by about half. That is good enough for me with these tools, because I keep my miter saw on a Ridgid mobile/folding stand and can't at present have one of those dust shroud thingies for it, and semi-total dust control for a tablesaw seems to require a central vac system and a lot of hootenanny. Woodworking folks: when reviewing stuff like this, say what brand of this or that you are connecting together. That level of specificity can help other shoppers make informed buying choices--if you say 'I use this to connect my vacuum to my saw,' doesn't help much. But Fein vac to Ridgid 12" miter saw --that is gonna help the next guy that has those things and is tryin' to figure out how to connect 'em, am I right?
