Bought for my teen son's room to match his bed and desk. The wood is a lovely color. The size is perfect for under the window. The cat has already claimed the bottom shelf ha ha ha

This review is for the "5 Tier Bookshelf 31.49" Width, Tall Book Shelf Storage and Organization, Wooden and Metal Industrial Bookcase, Large Book Shelves for Home Living Room Bedroom Office Storage(Vintage)" as well as the same style in the 3 tier version.We originally bought the 3-tier version of these shelves. This was one of only a few that I could find on Amazon that had proper support underneath each shelf rather than screwing into the edges/ends of the shelves. Instead, these have a bar under each shelf, and a set of screws that go in under the shelves as well so they don't slide around. Someone else in the household assembled this one and had it done quickly and without any problems. It looks great.We needed more space for more jigsaw puzzles, so I ordered the 5-tier version. I did the assembly this time and found he instructions were mostly good. The diagrams are quite small, and while I could read them just fine, I found that they were not always the most intuitive. Fortunately, each of the fasteners are pretty specific in where they will fit, so it would be difficult to mix them up. The only issue I ran into is that one of the bolt anchors in one of the shelves came loose, but this was easily remedied.I do recommend these shelves, for sure. The price is on par with other similar shelving units that do not have the support under the shelves, so in my mind this is the better option. Assembly is pretty straightforward. And they look pretty good!

This is a little book-shelf for a small corner of my daughters bedroom. It's sturdy and was easy to assemble with only the allen-wrench that was supplied with the screws, no personal tools required other then the allen-wrench. It took about 30 minutes to assemble and I did it all by myself. I'm not a supper savy builder and if I can do it, anyone can do it. The price was fair at $99 plus tax, free shipping for prime members. There is quite a bit of storage space on this shelf my daughter had about 30 plus books and there is still plenty of room for more. The shelf was not very heavy about 20lbs maybe. Very stable shelf and comes with stand off balance spacers for the feet and to prevent scratching the floor incase you need to move it. There are some cross beams that attach to the back of the shelf to hold books more sturdy. I recommend this shelf if you need something to fit in a small limited space it's perfect!

I may be testing the shelves to the limit by using them for my hand weights but it’s holding up well and looking great. I was looking for something small and sturdy to place by my window for the plants and this fit the bill perfectly. The price was fair and it was super easy to put together.

These shelves are exactly what I needed for my overflow kitchen appliances and to show off personal items that are meaningful to me. It was easy for me to put together by myself, and I love the color of the wood shelves. It is exactly what I was looking for, and a great price.

I needed a small bookcase to hold all the books I hope to read in the coming year, my therapy for these times. This one really did the trick! I am impressed by how solid it is. The metal frame and a supporting brace under each shelf is really a genius solution to avoiding shelves sagging under a load of heavy books. It was easy enough to assembly ... took me under an hour ... and it felt really stable when I was finished. I also like the hint of Arts and Crafts in the style and the dark wood grain of the shelves. It inspired me to go ahead and order a few more books; this bookcase holds more than I thought it would.
