A fantastic coat.Looks and feels very well made, better than others I’ve tried on here.

This coat is really a good purchase. I have a small to medium frame and the small fits me like a glove. I do have to agree with some of the comments that the fabric can be a bit better quality, shows a few wrinkles, but nothing really noticeable. I wore the coat when it was 20 degrees with a scarf and a long sleeve shirt, didn’t feel cold at all. Also during cold rainy days and nothing, kept me warm. Definitely a great purchase.

A week into wearing the coat, the buttons started coming loose. The most recent one is one I’ve never fastened. It is a warm coat but the buttons are not secured well.

This is a very nice jacket too.The wool blend is still on the dress side.30 percent is decent enough to kick around in and not feel too stiff. It's not like an x ray bib at the dentist. It's much lighter feeling and thicker in texture.Otherwise it's very well made. The fit is probably the best thing about it.I went with medium and it's fitted slim so not a lot of extra material flapping around. It's got good lines and coherent stitching that keeps it trimmed together. Looks professional.

I bought this jacket a week ago, and now it’s on sale here for a much lower price. The fit and cut are great for a slim silhouette, but for bigger guys, it might feel a bit tight at the bottom button. Fortunately, this is an easy fix—you can move the button with the help of a tailor, especially since it’s a double-breasted design. My biggest complaint is how thin the material is, which causes it to wrinkle easily and makes it look less polished. Because of this, I’m planning to return it.

The buttons on the coat could use stronger threading as opposed to normal sewing thread. A button feel off a week after wearing it. This is a simple fix and for the price of the coat is not much to invest. Everything else about the coat like the fit, warmth, and aesthetic is perfect for me.

I purchased this for a friend for his birthday. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money but I also didn’t want to give him an obvious cheap looking coat. The material is extremely soft, it fit perfectly. I am the first to complain about something being cheaply made and this doesn’t look cheap

So I come form a Navy family and have been wearing peacoats since I was a child - Real ones my Navy grandfather would would aquire from the Base or from old WWII friends. I was very reluctant to buy some cheap, semi-desinger peacoat, as a real Navy one costs a fortune. They are about $300 at the Navy store here, in Colorado. So I bought this one and, man, I am just baffled. Not onlyis it extremely comfortable, but it fits me like a glove with the semi stylish tapered waist. To be clear, this is a sweet coat, but not an old school fit. You are looking at a very modern take on the classic. But unless you are a peacoat expert, who cares? So, the Medium size fit. I am 6'1", 185lbs and 15 percent bodyfat. I only know this because today I got a health body screen for a new job. The body screen said 6'2.5" but I was wearing Doc Martin Boots. I dunno what body fat even means, but I just wanna give you my dimensions to help you decide what size to buy. Althought the peacoat fits me perfectly (I also have been working out since I was 14, so 35 years) It iwas too snug to wear a bulky sweater beneath. I am wearing a thick thermal beneath it now, and I do think think anything more bulky would work. But in Colorado we layer, so this Medium is perfect. I am definitely going to buy a large, too. That said, I really appreciate when reviews discuss sizing, as the seller sizing is often generic an unreliable. If you are my size and shape (I do NOT have broad shoulders. I am kinda skinny fat) and plan to dress light beneath, definitely the Medium. Anyone over 190lbs I am pretty sure buy the large or above. My arms are not huge, but I do have what one would consider larger arms compared to most Americans. The medium is just barely snug....for me perfect. If you are a mesomorph with giant arms, the large for sure, but this coat is also longer than real ones. You may wanna look for a shorter one. Again, I am on th etaller side and this coat fits well beneath my waist. The picture shows a decent representation, but the coat does look better, at least one me, than that pic. The main thing with cheap peacoats is that the double breast tens to get all jacked up and wrinkled when buttoned. Not on this one. I see in the pic the right arm looks wrinkled and cheap, but thar lighting kinda sucks. I do admit I just got it a few mintes ago and have not really tested it out in the world. Nevertheless, for fufty bucks, so what?!!! Good Will will be happy if it turns out to be total junk. All in all, I am amazed.
