For the past 6 months, this tent has been very useful for our family. At first, we used it 4 or 5 times for our baby when we traveled, opening up our pack-n-play inside it. Then, we transferred the tent to his crib, using it as a blackout tent and barrier against his older toddler brother he shares a room with. The biggest perks of this tent are that it blocks out all light and it is very easy to set up. Since it is a pop-up tent, set-up only takes a minute when using a pack-n-play. Folding it back up is tricky, and the instructions are minimal. After some practice, we learned how to store it quickly as well. The biggest downside to this tent is that the material is so effective at blocking out light that it also blocks out a lot of airflow. Personally, we don't feel comfortable enough with this tent to zip the blackout door all the way closed. We either tie up that part, just zipping the mesh layer, or we loosely drape the blackout door over the mesh part so that air gets in. Even with this precaution, the air within the tent can feel stuffy. Another aspect of this tent to consider is that while the storage bag for this tent is flat, it is wide and won't fit in typical airline luggage. It is still convenient for putting in a car, however.

The sleep tent does offer a good amount of light blocking. It was easy to install and seems to be fairly durable. Make sure to check for ventilation as you need to have proper ventilation in the area where your child will be sleeping. I feel the cost is a little high. It is good for travel and functions as it’s intended.

our boys are sharing a room so this tent helps our baby sleep better because our toddler likes to sleep with a couple night lights. I wish the ties were more even in length because it looks a little sloppy but it still get the job done.

This is SO helpful when we're staying with family or hanging out at a friend's house during naptime. Not everyone has blackout curtains, and that Colorado sun is INTENSE. Our baby is pretty flexible with sleeping environments, but this really helps in places where there's a distracting amount of light coming in. It's portable and folds flat. It pops right over our pack n play and has a little spot you can peep in to check on the baby. The way it folds up makes it a little awkward for air or distance travel, but it's portable enough to toss in the car and bring it where we need. We don't use it all the time, but it's super helpful when we need it!

We had been looking for a tent to use for our crib, as we didn't want to just use the slumber pod with the pack n play. This tent does exactly what we need it too. We use it inside our full size crib (54.75 L x 29.63 W)

I bought this to use in hotel rooms when we travel. I just used it on a cruise and it worked great for us. The cabin was small so this allowed our baby to sleep in darkness, while I was doing other things or watching TV.

My little guy (7 months) sleeps in a pack and play at night, and we had been having a rough time with mosquitoes, so I got this to provide some protection from the bugs, as well as something to dim the light from our window.Unfortunately, this really was too big for the pack and play. (It's a pretty large sleep tent, in general, which works well for older kids, as they can sit up inside of it.)I decided, instead, to place it in his crib. The mattress sits inside of the sleep tent, and because of that, it sits pretty far down in the crib. The arched opening on top wasn't too far above the side rails, and the zipper extends pretty far down into the crib, so getting a baby into the crib (especially if you're trying not to wake them up as you set them down!) is a bit tricky. For the zipper/entry design, I think it's a little clunky because it's too big for a pack and play, and because it sits so far down in the crib. Besides that, though...It does a good job of light blocking, and because it's a self-contained unit, it is completely bug-proof. There are little elastic bands and rods to hold the blackout entry and/or the bug mesh open, which is helpful when trying to get the baby inside.Honestly, I think this would be an even better "toddler bed" tent, because if you didn't have to worry about the crib rails, this would be a cool little setup. I think most toddlers would find it pretty exciting to sleep in.Overall, for its intended purpose, it functions as a mosquito guard and as a blackout tent, but it isn't ideal in terms of setup for babies. It does work in a pinch, though. For toddlers, this would probably be a big hit for a lot of them!

We have a 15 month old who is still too young for us to share a room every day in case he wakes up and can't see us and cries. With this blackout baby tent, we can turn on the bedroom light at night without waking him up, and we don't have to worry about him waking up too early in the morning to see us. During the day, he can nap in the dimly lit sleep pod. It has a mesh pocket and a clear pocket for a fan to provide extra air circulation and white noise to help baby fall asleep. The monitor pocket is also very useful to see the crib and know when it's waking up even when we're walking around the living room. There is absolutely no need to worry about your child's safety in the sleep pod. It's so easy to set up and use, it opens up and pops right out and straps to our crib. We love that it folds up very small for easy transportation and packing when traveling. It's really great value for money!
