I am on my second one of these and it has fallen apart just as the fist one did.The casters have fallen out and the threads inside the legs and on the casters themselves are destroyed. The seat itself is really not that comfortable. Its only slightly better than standing all day in steel toe boots on a hard cement floor. The only nice thing about this stool is that it seems to be the only one with such a large adjustable height differential. This was my reason for picking it, but I know now that I wont be getting another.I did not deal with the seller or amazon for any kind of return after the first one because the second one was purchased for me by my company after the first one that I purchased broke. My company wanted to keep the broken one to modify and use as a community shop stool.

After using this stool the seat actually broke after two weeks. I am way under it's weight limit, but the product is well built. The comapany refunded without issues. I still feel they make great products.

Update: spoke with Billitools directly, received a basically instant refund for the full price of the chair. I was then contacted a few weeks later and received the new version of the chair for free. The newer chair came in two days later and man, they really did improve it. The seat cushion is higher quality with it feeling more soft than the previous. The wheels have been upgraded as well with a large washer type device to prevent the wheels from bending I think. Second is that the chair no longer requires and tools to setup. Just pull out the components and they’re plug and play. I will be updating this to 5 stars.Original review: The product looks very nice and looks like it will feel sturdy. Maybe I got a defective one I don’t know but the seat has never sat quite right in the base. It has a slight tilt to it which causes the wheels to lock up when rolling the seat. The wheels themselves have begun to bend and now the chair basically just stays in one spot as if I do move while in it i tip over. The weight limit specified is 300IBS which I assure you i am not even close to so maybe 250 should be the max weight. If you’re very small and it actually works then by all means go for it but dor $100 for a garage chair that can’t stand up to the weight of a average sized guy this chair is not worth the money.

Please note I keep this at the lowest setting and can't give any review about the hydraulic lift.After that...Well built, solid base and comfortable to sit on as someone that is 6'2 and 250lbs.What I like:I can plop a magnetic tray to one of the legs and I'm considering attaching a permanent parts/tool bin which should be fairly simple with the slotted design on the legs.Warning:My tailbone requires me to inform you that the casters are very smooth and very quiet. If you do not have this stool on a PERFECTLY level surface it will roll away. It will not be there when you sit back down, even if it has only been 10 - 15 seconds

I love everything about it. Very rugged item. Yes, it may be a little hard to get on while raised, but you know you can lower it before getting off it. Pay some attention to wheels. If they start backing off, put some red loctite on them and tighten them back up. Dont keep using it with loose wheels or you will chew up the threads as shown in one of the users pics. Red Loctite is your friend.

I use this rolling stool for all sorts of tasks in the garage and most importantly I use it to detail my dually truck...that thing is huge! I love how sturdy it is and how it is still an easy to maneuver, comfortable chair. It looks pretty good too!

I've had this char for about a year. While I was sitting on it, a wheel on the chair suddenly fell off. It had apparently unthreaded itself from the chair. The hole where the wheel attached to the chair was damaged and bent. The chair became unstable. I almost got dumped onto a concrete garage floor. I've had no luck trying to contact the manufacturer. Amazon advised that the only way to contact them was through the review section of the product. If you happen to own this chair, check the wheels and immediately stop using it if you start to encounter a wobble while sitting on it.
