I like biking but hate the typical bike helmets. Not sure why manufacturers can't make normal looking helmets. This one actually looks like what a normal helmet should look like. Yes, it's a bit heavier than the typical helmet, but I prefer this one.I have a larger head and the large size fits me perfectly. It feels comfortable and does not look weird on me. The helmet itself is solid and very well built. The strap is also comfortable to wear. I got the navy blue and really like the color. The price is reasonable.

I am not an expert in safety helmets. Even when my children used to ride their bicycles, either there was no helmet law, or people in the very rural area where we lived did not know about it. But now I have grandchildren who keep their bikes in my garage, and I want to be as sure as I can that they are as safe as possible. This helmet comes with a black nylon drawstring bag for storage and transport. I did not see mention of this on the product listing page, so it is a nice bonus. The helmet that I received is a size Medium. Especially with the well designed size adjustments built into the helmet itself, this helmet fits both my granddaughters as it should according to the Instruction Manual. It also fits me,. and for a brief moment I considered wearing it in case I should ever have an accident with my power wheelchair. After due consideration, I decided that wearing protection against the potentially harmful effects of the sun was, for me, more important, so my battered old sun hat won out over the helmet. Aside from the size, this helmet seems to me to be a very good product. The outer shell is hard and rigid. The inner layer is not at all soft, as I had expected it would be. It seems to be constructed of a kind of foam, which I suppose to be engineered to protect against impact injury. I would have appreciated some information regarding how well this helmet compares to similar products, something to tell me if it falls into a category of Good, Better, or Best in terms of safety. I found nothing like that. Even without the softness that I expected, the helmet is comfortable,. Nothing rubs or digs in. The chin strap is very nicely padded in just the right area. The buckle provides a secure closure for the chin strap, but can be undone quickly and easily when needed. There are nine "windows" that allow for good ventilation and air flow, preventing the helmet from becoming uncomfortably hot for the wearer. This helmet even looks good. The design reminds me of English horseback rider helmets. This particular helmet is pink, and it is a pretty shade of pink, just as illustrated on the product listing page. I do want to refer briefly back to the Instruction Manual. It is a small, folded piece of paper, with diagrams and very small print. It also lays out the instructions in a way that is backward for North Americans, meaning that you start with the first instruction paragraphs on the extreme right, with the next in sequence appearing to the left, and so on. The translation into English could be better, but I was able to follow and understand it. The diagrams are clear and helpful. There is a label stuck to the inside of the helmet, and it repeats some of the warnings from the folded Instruction Manual. I am glad that I read them carefully, because I would not have thought that the helmet could suffer invisible damage that would make it less effective as a head protection. While I would like to see the manufactuter put a little extra effort into creating an Instruction Manual that is more substantial, with better translation and larger print, with all things considered, I think this is a good product.

Exactly what I wanted, its comfortable and fits perfect thanks to the size adjuster in the back, its cute, light, and sturdy. The chin padding helps a lot, there's also nice padding inside the helmet.

The helmet was as described and arrived on time. It fit perfectly and is of good quality.
