The Bike Chain Lock is sturdy and offers good security with its 5-digit combination and heavy-duty chain, making it a solid choice for protecting my bike, scooter, or other items. The length of 12/4.7 feet is convenient for locking up multiple objects, and the lock feels durable enough to deter theft.However, I had difficulty changing the combination code, as there were no clear instructions included. After some trial and error, I eventually figured it out, but it would have been much easier with guidance. Once set, the lock works well, but the lack of proper instructions for resetting the code is frustrating. Overall, it’s a reliable lock, but the setup process could be improved.

This lock's chain and locking mechanism are both very sturdy. Because the chain is covered with a thick material you can't tell exactly how thick the chain is, but it feels much more solid than other bike chains I've owned. It did not come with instructions for changing the combination, but it uses the same method as other combination lock chains I have - you turn the small knob where the rod enters the lock one-quarter turn clockwise, turn the dials to your desired combination, then turn the small knob counterclockwise back to its original position. It is heavy from a weight perspective, not a bad thing at all, just thought I'd point that out.

This is a sturdy chain that feels very well built.Setting the lock combo is simple, and it doesn't feel like it will be able to be broken very easily.The chain has a soft cover, too. I wrapped it around the crossbar of my bike and I'm not worried about it rubbing against the paint or my skin.The length is good, a couple of feet, so plenty long enough to lock around the wheel and cross section of the bike.Great buy.

This is a decent bike lock, but the chain doesn't feel very heavy duty. I think it will work fine for when I bike into town for a quick lunch or beverage, but I don't feel too confident it would hold up very well against bolt cutters if someone really wanted my bike.
