Works good, but for smaller leaves and items. Doesn’t do so well with pine needles in the pool. Overall it does help keep the pool clean.

Keeps the scum off water surface. Basket is easy to remove and replace. Charges well when there is sun.

This is going to be a time saver during summer! It removed leaves and and debris really well. I love that its solar powered. It is bigger than i imagined but that's a good thing. Easy to operate and it does what it's intended to do. I'm including a pic from the video in the product listing, that shows how to use a piece of pool noodle to prevent the Betta from getting stuck. The storage bag is a nice inclusion

My pool has some big oak trees near by that drop leaves year round. Cleaning the pool weekly or sometimes multiple times a week is a must.I almost never write reviews but this thing is worth the review. The pool is cleaner than ever because this guy is constantly skimming the surface and grabbing them before they get a chance to sink and dirty up the pool. It's been an awesome addition for the pool. I highly recommend for anyone who has to deal with leaves all the time.

Surpassed my expectations for my small in-ground pool (11K gallons). The surface of the pool has never been cleaner. Super simple to use, put it in the pool and let it do its magic. No need to pull it out, clean the basket once a week. It's made my pool maintenance routine super easy!

We have had good initial experience with this pools skimmer. Except we cannot see how to fit the foam noodle to our skimmer basket. Otherwise it seems great

First thing: this thing is much larger than I thought! Since the pool is closed we can't really try this out to see how it works, so an indepth review of operations will have to wait for pool season. But it started up and worked right out of the box, and the remote also works. It comes with a very nice storage bag too. It also has a small section of large diameter pool noodle that is suggested to be used if you have trouble with the Betta getting stuck in the skimmer. It certainly appears to be well constructed, and I have little doubt it will work as advertised. Check back for more detailed operational information in the spring.
