We had issues with previous version not holding solar charge.This new version is much better and now has a plug in port to manually charge on those cloudy,short daylight days.We like this improvement so far and highly recommend. Easy to use and well made . Manufacturer responds quickly to your inquiries.

Works fantastic for collecting leaves and its an easy set and forget. I clean the basket frequently. Robot has no problem working unsupervised and keeping the pool "ready" for whenever we jump in. Solar charging works great.

I recently got to try out the Betta SE Plus Solar Powered Robotic Pool Skimmer, and for the price, it's proving to be a solid choice! The solar power feature is a big win. It runs for about 30 hours on a single charge, which is impressive considering it's not designed for continuous cleaning like some higher-end models. While it won't replace your full-time pool cleaner, it does a great job of keeping the surface clear of leaves and debris between more intensive cleanings. In terms of performance, the Betta SE Plus does what it promises without fuss. I appreciate how lightweight it is, especially when it comes time to retrieve it from the pool. The carrying and storage bag is a nice touch, making it easy to store when not in use.
