Much like the name implies, the gun sock looks a lot like a long tube sock which is closed on one end and has an opening on the opposite end. You slide your gun into them, barrel first, and pull the strings tight. Some people like to keep the handle of their gun poking out so they know which gun is in the sock. Either way, the barrel is in the sock which is the part of the gun that you're trying to protect. A gun sock is great for long-term storage applications, especially in humid environments. If you have multiple guns in a tight safe or cabinet you will want the added protection that a sock affords. We recommend getting a gun sock for every gun you own. Just got two of these for my 32" 686 Silver Pigeon I Sporting 12 gauge. They look fantastic. Fits the gun nice and snugly. We will have to wait and see how long they last.

Not much to say here. It's what you would expect from a gun sock. Decent material, branded (if that's your thing), etc. What it does provide is good protection for a good price. A small investment to go a long ways protection your very expensive investment.

I store my shotguns in a safe, in a basement, or they spend time in my vehicle if I am going to shoot somewhere. Either way, they are regularly exposed to moisture/humidity where I live. I've seen guns slowly start to show small signs of rust from the humidity. None of mine have these issues because I use dehumidifiers where I can, and when those aren't available, I put them in these gunsocks. These work great, seem to last, and they're pretty cheap.
