the left hand grip is made from 2 separate bits of metal tube and the only thing that holds them together is the rubber grip so you can easily twist the grip at the end and you do not have a solid grip on the bars as it moved. And just a matter of time till the rubber breaks then the left hand grip will be in two separate pieces

Terrible fit and would drag and hang up on the throttle side. Had to purchase a new set to replace them.

I installed these on a 15 Street Glide, installation was easy and they looked good. While riding the second time with them the tube came apart internally and I lost throttle. Managed to get to the side of the road and tighten it back up and everything was fine. I thought I had just missed something and called it a fluke until a few days later when it happened again. I checked and everything was tight and I could not find anything lose. I now have my SG parked because I do not have replacement grips yet. I knew I would not get top shelf quality at this price point but I would at least expect it not to be a product that was a danger to my life.

The handgrips are not a single solid tube. The grip is constructed by three pieces. An aluminum end cap screwed to inner metal tube that is glued to the rubber outer which I’m turn is glued to another aluminum part that has two set screws that weakly tighten onto the handle bar. The set screws protrude from the grip. The result is a grip that twists at 3/4 length. Unable to glue due to circumference. The throttle side is of equally poor design. Do not buy these grips. Now I know why the Arlen Ness grips are 60 bucks.

Do not purchase, end cap for TBY was threaded wrong and constantly comes loose as you throttle, these went into the garbage after about an hour. Spend the extra 60 or 70 dollars and get a decent mid-priced grip. lesson learned.
